Salam International Transport and Trading Company provides solutions and services to the shipping, logistics and transportation, oil and gas logistics and construction, catering and life support services, and construction and real estate industries in Jordan. It owns and operates a fleet of vessels, including barges, RoRo's, passenger ships, multipurpose vessels, and Panamaxes; manages vessels comprising high speed crafts, container ships, bulk carriers, and livestock carriers and oil tankers; and operates Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies, a private institution located in Abu Nusair. The company also provides canvassing and cargo booking solutions for third party shippers and ship-owners; and marine, vessel traffic management, and ship way services, as well as hydrographic surveys to various vessels visiting the Port of Aqaba.
