Grindwell Norton Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by insider Rajani Seshadri was not the only time they bought Grindwell Norton shares this year. Earlier in the year, they paid ₹549 per share in a ₹3.5m purchase. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of ₹645. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. If someone buys shares at well below current prices, it's a good sign on balance, but keep in mind they may no longer see value. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider bought shares at close to current prices. Rajani Seshadri was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.

Rajani Seshadri bought 13.78k shares over the last 12 months at an average price of ₹562. You can see the insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year depicted in the chart below. By clicking on the graph below, you can see the precise details of each insider transaction!

Does Grindwell Norton Boast High Insider Ownership?

I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. It appears that Grindwell Norton insiders own 8.7% of the company, worth about ₹6.2b. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
