Mr. Lap Wai Cheung, also known as Desmond, has been an Acting Chief Executive Officer of Mansion International Holdings Limited since November 7, 2018. Mr. Cheung is responsible for formulating the overall development strategies and business plans, overseeing the general management, financial and accounting, human resources and administrative matters as well as the daily operation of the Group. He has been Director of Mansion International Holdings Ltd since May 17, 2017 and was re-designated as its Executive Director and appointed as its Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer on 6 July 2017. He is mainly responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting, human resources and administrative matters as well as the OBM business of the Group. Mr. Cheung has over nine years of experience in business development and sales and marketing. Mr. Cheung joined Mansion International Holdings in October 2008 as the Manager of Business Development and Marketing Department with his current position as the Chief Executive Officer of Babies Trendyland Limited since April 2016. Prior to joining Mansion International Holdings, Mr. Cheung worked in Samsung SDS America, Inc., a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., as a junior consultant of systems in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Cheung worked in Model N, Inc., a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (stock code: MODN) which is a pioneer and leading provider of revenue management solutions for the life sciences and technology industries, with his last position being a member of technical staff of product development. Mr. Cheung obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in California, US in December 2004 and a Master of Science degree in Software Management from the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US in August 2010. Mr. Cheung also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong in November 2016. Mr. Cheung was selected for membership in Beta Gamma Sigma the international honour society for collegiate schools of business under The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chapter in November 2016.
