The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At MS INTERNATIONAL

The Group Finance Director & Executive Director Michael O'Connell made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for UK£254k worth of shares at a price of UK£7.21 each. Although we like to see insider buying, we note that this large purchase was at significantly below the recent price of UK£10.55. Because the shares were purchased at a lower price, this particular buy doesn't tell us much about how insiders feel about the current share price.

Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 52.53k shares worth UK£419k. But they sold 51.76k shares for UK£422k. Over the last year we saw more insider selling of MS INTERNATIONAL shares, than buying. The sellers received a price of around UK£8.16, on average. It's not particularly great to see insiders were selling shares at below recent prices. Of course, the sales could be motivated for a multitude of reasons, so we shouldn't jump to conclusions. Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. MS INTERNATIONAL insiders own about UK£67m worth of shares. That equates to 39% of the company. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
