ENXTPA:AIR

From what we can see, insiders were net buyers in Airbus SE's (EPA:AIR ) during the past 12 months. That is, insiders acquired the stock in greater numbers than they sold it.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Airbus

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when CEO & Executive Director Guillaume Faury bought €2.3m worth of shares at a price of €155 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of €158. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. If someone buys shares at well below current prices, it's a good sign on balance, but keep in mind they may no longer see value. The good news for Airbus share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. The only individual insider to buy over the last year was Guillaume Faury.
