Does Airtificial Intelligence Structures' (BME:AI) Share Price Gain of 55% Match Its Business Performance?
If you want to compound wealth in the stock market, you can do so by buying an index fund. But you can significantly boost your returns by picking above-average stocks. For example, the Airtificial Intelligence Structures, S.A. (BME:AI) share price is up 55% in the last year, clearly besting the market decline of around 14% (not including dividends). That's a solid performance by our standards! Unfortunately the longer term returns are not so good, with the stock falling 24% in the last three years.

To paraphrase Benjamin Graham: Over the short term the market is a voting machine, but over the long term it's a weighing machine. One flawed but reasonable way to assess how sentiment around a company has changed is to compare the earnings per share (EPS) with the share price.
Airtificial Intelligence Structures was able to grow EPS by 66% in the last twelve months. We note, however, that extraordinary items have impacted earnings. This EPS growth is reasonably close to the 55% increase in the share price. So this implies that investor expectations of the company have remained pretty steady. It makes intuitive sense that the share price and EPS would grow at similar rates.
The image below shows how EPS has tracked over time (if you click on the image you can see greater detail).

A Different Perspective
It's nice to see that Airtificial Intelligence Structures shareholders have received a total shareholder return of 55% over the last year. That certainly beats the loss of about 4% per year over the last half decade. We generally put more weight on the long term performance over the short term, but the recent improvement could hint at a (positive) inflection point within the business. While it is well worth considering the different impacts that market conditions can have on the share price, there are other factors that are even more important. Consider for instance, the ever-present spectre of investment risk. We've identified 4 warning signs with Airtificial Intelligence Structures (at least 2 which are potentially serious) , and understanding them should be part of your investment process.

When was the last time that Tesla delivered on its promises? Lets go through the list! The last successful would be the Tesla Model 3 which was 2019 with first deliveries 2017. Roadster not shipped. Tesla Cybertruck global roll out failed. They might have a bunch of prototypes (that are being controlled remotely) And you think they'll be able to ship something as complicated as a robot? It's a pure speculation buy.
This article completely disregards (ignores, forgets) how far China is in this field. If Tesla continues on this path, they will be fighting for their lives trying to sell $40000 dollar robots that can do less than a $10000 dollar one from China will do. Fair value of Tesla? It has always been a hype stock with a valuation completely unbased in reality. Your guess is as good as mine, but especially after the carbon credit scheme got canned, it is downwards of $150.
