Ju Teng International Holdings Limited Provides Earnings Guidance for the Six Months Ended June 30, 2026 Ju Teng International Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for six months ended June 30, 2026. For the six months, the company will record a loss attributable to equity holders of the Company in the range from approximately HKD 750 million to approximately HKD 850 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026 (the "Period"), as compared to the loss attributable to equity holders of the Company of approximately HKD 79 million for the corresponding period in 2025. Despite the measures adopted by the Group to lower the operating costs and adjust operation and production strategies, the Group is expected to record a substantial increase in loss attributable to equity holders of the Company for the Period mainly due to the following factors: a decrease in the sales revenue by approximately 5% as compared with the corresponding period in 2025, mainly attributable to weakened demand from major notebook computer brand customers, as the global memory shortage drove up costs and selling prices, thereby weakening end-user consumption and leading to a reduction in orders placed with the Group, which was in line with the drop observed in worldwide PC shipments for the second quarter of 2026; the absence of a one-off gain on disposal of non-current assets classified as held for sale of approximately HKD 139 million recognized in the corresponding period in 2025 in connection with disposal of certain assets by the Group; net foreign exchange losses of approximately HKD 211 million incurred during the Period as compared with approximately HKD 24 million during the corresponding period in 2025, primarily driven by the appreciation of Renminbi; the reclassification of trial production costs for new products from cost of sales to selling and distribution expenses during the Period in order to more effectively reflect the production costs of products sold, and thereby contributed to the increase in selling and distribution expenses to approximately HKD 147 million during the Period, as compared with approximately HKD 73 million during the corresponding period in 2025; and the decrease in production orders which led to low utilization rates of production capacity, resulting in certain production cost in the range of approximately HKD 450 million to approximately HKD 550 million being classified as idle capacity costs, which in turn reduced the amount of costs capitalized into inventories in accordance with the accounting standards and policies adopted by the Group, and thereby increased other expenses recognised during the Period. New minor risk - Share price stability The company's share price has been volatile over the past 3 months. It is more volatile than 75% of German stocks, typically moving 7.5% a week. This is considered a minor risk. Share price volatility indicates the stock is highly sensitive to market conditions or economic conditions rather than being sensitive to its own business performance, which may also be inconsistent. It also increases the risk of potential losses in the short term as the stock tends to have larger drops in price more frequently than other stocks. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risk Earnings have declined by 31% per year over the past 5 years. Minor Risk Share price has been volatile over the past 3 months (7.5% average weekly change). Reported Earnings • Mar 19

New minor risk - Profit margin trend The company's profit margins are lower than last year and have reduced by more than 30%. Net profit margin: 0.006% Last year net profit margin: 2.2% This is considered a minor risk. A large drop in profit margin could indicate the company does not have strong competitive advantages or it is yet to establish itself and its core business. Even if it is a well established business, this may make it a much riskier investment than one that has a combination of proven competitive advantages and a stable or growing profit margin. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risk Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (12% average weekly change). Despite the measures adopted by the Group to lower the operating costs, the Group is expected to record a net loss for the Period mainly due to the following factors: a decrease in the sales revenue by approximately 25% to 30% as compared with the corresponding period in 2022 mainly as a result of weak demand for notebook computers worldwide resulting from high levels of global inflation during the Period; a substantial decrease in gross profit as compared with the corresponding period in 2022 mainly as a result of destocking by downstream manufacturers, which in turn led to decreased demand for and lowered sales price of the Group's products, and lower utilization rates of the Group's production capacity; despite recording a net foreign exchange gain for the Period, other income decreased mainly due to a decrease in foreign exchange gains as compared with the corresponding period in 2022 due to relatively smaller depreciation of Renminbi against United States dollars ("USD") during the Period; and an increase in finance costs due to the increase in interest rates in USD bank borrowings.
