Arco Vara AS Announces CEO Changes The Supervisory Board of Arco Vara has appointed Rait Riim as the new CEO of Arco Vara AS. According to the decision of the Supervisory Board, Rait Riim’s authority will take effect on April 1, 2026 and will be valid for three years. Rait Riim has 20 years of experience in the real estate sector. Since 2019, he has been working as Head of Real Estate Investments at LHV Varahaldus AS. Previously, he has served as Development Project Manager at Kapitel AS and as Real Estate Portfolio Manager at Ektornet Management Estonia OÜ, a subsidiary of Swedbank. From 2020 to 2021, Rait Riim was a member of the Supervisory Board of Arco Vara AS, representing LHV Pension Funds. Arco Vara AS Appoints Christian Petrov as Head of Bulgarian Operations And Management Board Member Arco Vara AS has appointed Christian Petrov as the new head of its Bulgarian subsidiaries following the departure of Arco Vara Bulgaria’s former Managing Director, Daniel Yordanov. The main responsibility of the new manager is to ensure the smooth continuation of the Bulgarian subsidiaries’ daily operations and to support Arco Vara’s strategic goal of gradually concluding its activities on the Bulgarian market, including overseeing the ongoing sales process and asset realization. Arco Vara AS Wins Lawsuit Arco Vara AS announced that By a court ruling of January 18, 2021, the Supreme Court did not accept the appeal in cassation of Brave Capital O-. As a result, the judicial decision of the circuit court fully entered into force on June 30, 2020 and Arco won the civil matter in full. The final amount of the procedure expenses awarded against Brave to be paid to Arco will be determined by the Harju County Court. On June 30, 2020, Brave filed an appeal in cassation against the decision of the Tallinn Circuit Court and asked the Supreme Court to Annual it once again. On June 30, 2020, the Tallinn Circuit Court annulled the original decision of the County Court of March 27, 2017, dismissed Brave's action and satisfied Arco's counterclaim. The circuit court declared Brave's exclusive right to the sign "VESKIM-LDRE", registered as a trademark, invalid. The measures for securing the action were revoked. Brave was ordered to pay the procedure expenses of all the proceedings. On December 18, 2019, the Supreme Court again annulled the judgment of the Circuit Court of January 29, 2019 and sent the matter to the same Circuit Court to review its decision. On January 29, 2019, the Tallinn Circuit Court annulled the original decision of the County Court of March 27, 2017, dismissed Brave's action and satisfied Arco's counterclaim. Arco Vara AS Enters into Construction and Financing Contracts for Conducting the Next Residential Development Project of Kodulahe Kvartal Arco Vara AS has entered into construction and financing contracts for conducting the next residential development project of Kodulahe Kvartal. In Merimetsa, Tallinn, the joint development of the 4th and 5th apartment building of Kodulahe Kvartal will be started at addresses Pagi 3 and Pagi 5 where 72 apartments will be constructed. On offer will be apartments with 2 to 5 rooms and with a total GSA of 4,777 m2. The buildings were designed by KAMP Arhitektid OÜ, the main contractor of construction is RAMM Ehituse OÜ and the construction is financed by AS LHV Pank. Arco Vara AS Announces Management Changes The Management Board of Arco Vara AS dismissed Ivaylo Mishev from the position of manager Arco Vara Group’s Bulgarian entities (Arco Vara Bulgaria EOOD, Iztok Parkside EOOD, Arco Invest EOOD, Arco Lozen EOOD, Arco Manastirski EOOD) and elected as new manager Kaloyan Radosslavov. The Management Agreement with the new manager has been concluded for 3 years. Kaloyan Radosslavov joined the team of Arco Vara in 2018 and in a short period of time successfully turned around the Madrid project into a profitable enterprise for the group. The main responsibilities before the new manager will be to complete all ongoing projects in Bulgaria, initiate new developments, diversify the real estate portfolio and increase the overall profitability of the Bulgarian arm of the group.
