Before joining Cyprus, he worked as a department manager for Pincock, Allen & Holt, Inc., and spent 7 years with Dresser Minerals Company as mine manager in Canada, Thailand and Greece. He has been an Executive Director of Canyon Resources Corporation since March 11, 2005. He has been a Director of Atna Resources Ltd. since September 20, 2001 and Solitario Exploration & Royalty Corp since July, 2017. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Scorpio Mining Corp. from June 2004 to September 2004.
