Nortec Minerals Corp., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Canada, Ecuador, and Finland. The company explores for gold, zinc, copper, lead, silver, base metal, and lithium deposits. Its primary assets include the Sturgeon Lake volcanic massive sulfide property comprising 417 unpatented mining claims covering an area of approximately 9,500 hectares located in Ignace in Ontario, Canada; and the Mattagami River zinc property consisting of 43 unpatented mining claims covering an area of approximately 735 hectares located in Agate and Tucker townships of the Porcupine Mining Division in Northeastern Ontario, Canada.
