Mr. Michael Basha, also known as Mike, P.Geo, P.Eng., has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Aurion Resources Ltd. since October 15, 2008. Mr. Basha was a Consultant to Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. He served as the President of Cornerstone Ecuador SA and La Plata Minerales SA since November 2006. He served as an Exploration Manager of Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc., from April 2002 to June 20, 2005 and Vice President of Exploration since June 20, 2005 and also served as its Executive Vice President until July 14, 2008. He has more than 22 years of domestic and international experience including research, fieldwork and senior management experience in gold, base-metal and magmatic nickel-copper-platinum group elements. Prior to Cornerstone, Mr. Basha spent over 15 years in a contract geologist capacity and as a consulting geological engineer. His experience includes several years with Noranda where he worked in a variety of geological environments and where he was an integral member of the team that discovered the Hammerdown Deposit in Newfoundland. He has been a Director of Rhyolite Resources Ltd. since January 26, 2011. Mr. Basha has been a Director of Aurion Resources Ltd. since May 15, 2008. He served as a Director of Donnybrook Energy Inc. (alternate name: Coastport Capital Inc.) until March 2007. Mr. Basha served as a Director of Cornerstone Ecuador SA and La Plata Minerales SA since November 2006 and Executive Director of Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. since November 2, 2006.
