RATH Aktiengesellschaft, together with its subsidiaries, produces and sells refractory materials for industrial customers and commercial enterprises in Austria, Germany, Hungary, the United States, and internationally. The company offers oxide ceramic continuous fibers under the ALTRA FLEX brand; dense bricks, such as acid-resistant bricks, firebricks, high-alumina fireclay bricks, high-alumina bricks, sillimanite/andalusite bricks, corundum bricks, and silicon carbide bricks under the Acrath, Suprath, Durrath, Alurath, Silrath, Korrath, Sicrath, and RATHLOC brands; and monolithics consisting of dense concretes, mortars and adhesives, plastic castables, mortars for dense bricks, insulating and cement-free concretes, ultra-low and low cement concretes, and adhesives for materials made of high-temperature wool under the Carath, Porrathin, Carathplast, Carathin, and Kerathin brands. It also provides pre-cast blocks under the Carathform and Vibrorath brands; insulating fire bricks under the Porrath, Ratherm, and Porrathin brands; high temperature insulation wool under the Altra, Altraflex, Alsitra, and Calsitra brands; and vacuum-formed shapes under the Altraform, Kerform, Evac, Newvac, Filtrath, Ultiform, and ACS ALTRA brand name.
