It operates through Nine segments: Renewable Energy, Gas Energy, Conventional, Heating, Distribution, Railway Energy, Rotation, Circular Economy, and Other Activities segments. The Conventional Generation segment engages in extraction of lignite, production of electricity and heat from conventional sources. Its District Heating segment produces electricity and heat in cogeneration sources as well as transmits and distributes heat. The Renewables segment generates electricity from renewable sources and in pumped storage power plants. Its Supply segment engages in sale of electricity to final off-takers, trading of CO2 allowances, and energy certificates and fuels. The Distribution segment involves in supply of electricity to final off-takers through the grid and HV, MV, and LV infrastructure. Its Railway Energy Services segment engages in the distribution and sale of electricity to railway operators and customers. The Circular Economy segment comprises of management of the by-products of combustion; and provides auxiliary areas for electricity and heat producers and the supply of materials based on UPS.
