Roots Launches Pit Stops Summer ‘26 Limited-Edition Capsule Series Roots has launched Pit Stops Summer ‘26, a limited-edition capsule series celebrating six of Canada’s most beloved roadside destinations. The collection was designed in collaboration with Toronto-born multidisciplinary artist and illustrator, Moya Garrison-Msingwana (also known as GANGBOX). The limited-edition series features exclusive partnerships with iconic Canadian food spots spanning from coast-to-coast, including COWS founded in Prince Edward Island, Montreal-based La Banquise and St-Viateur Bagel, The Big Apple and Webers Hamburgers from Ontario, and Vancouver’s Duffin’s Donuts. Each collaboration draws inspiration from the unique identity, visual language, and iconic menu items that have defined these beloved destinations for generations, transforming them into wearable pieces that celebrate regional pride, culinary culture, and shared nostalgia. The collection showcases an assortment of graphic crew sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags and baseball caps, each designed to reflect the spirit and story of its partner establishment. Through GANGBOX’s signature painterly style, the capsule blends bold illustration with heritage-inspired design, capturing the essence of Canada’s road trip culture—from late-night snack stops to long-standing beloved local institutions. Each food stop is represented by four pieces, including made in Canada crews and t-shirts crafted from 100 per cent organic cotton, designed with a relaxed, gender-free fit that feel as good as they look.
