Chuo Warehouse Co., Ltd. Appoints Members of the Independent Committee, Effective June 24, 2026
Chuo Warehouse Co. Ltd. had elected members of the Independent Committee at the Board of Directors meeting held on June 24, 2026. The four members appointed as Independent Committee members were Yuko Yoshimatsu, Hiroshi Hitomi, Makio Muramoto, and Chihiro Katakura. Yuko Yoshimatsu was registered as an attorney at law in December 2008, joined Ebisu Law Office in December 2008, joined Kyoto Seikei Law Office in April 2011 (to present), served as Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member of the Company in June 2015, Outside Director of the Company in June 2022, and Outside Director (Audit and Supervisory Committee Member) of the Company in June 2026 (to present). Hiroshi Hitomi joined the Bank of Kyoto Ltd. in April 1985, served as General Manager of Shugakuin Branch in June 2003, General Manager of Osaka Chuo Branch in May 2005, General Manager of Head Office Business Department I in June 2009, Director (assigned to serve as General Manager of Corporate Planning Division) in June 2012, Director (assigned to serve as General Manager of Head Office Business Department) in June 2014, Managing Director (assigned to serve as General Manager of Head Office Business Department) in June 2015, Managing Director in June 2016, Senior Managing Director in June 2017, Representative Director and Senior Managing Director in June 2020, Representative Director and Chairman of Kyoyu Shoji Co. Ltd. in June 2021 (to present), Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member of the Company in June 2022, and Outside Director (Audit and Supervisory Committee Member) of the Company in June 2026 (to present). Makio Muramoto joined Yasuda Trust and Banking Company Ltd. (currently Mizuho Trust & Banking Co. Ltd.) in April 1984, served as Deputy General Manager of Retail Planning Department and General Manager of Call Center of Mizuho Asset Trust & Banking Co. Ltd. in April 2002, Deputy General Manager of Retail Planning Department and General Manager of Call Center of Mizuho Trust & Banking Co. Ltd. in March 2003, Deputy General Manager of Private Banking Planning Department in April 2005, General Manager of Hachioji Branch in March 2006, General Manager of Real Estate Sales III Department in October 2007, General Manager of Corporate Business Department in April 2010, Executive Officer and General Manager of Corporate Business Department in April 2011, Executive Officer and General Manager of Osaka Branch in April 2012, Executive Officer and General Manager of Fukuoka Branch in April 2013, Managing Executive Officer and officer in charge of sales in April 2014, Managing Executive Officer and officer in charge of sales branches in April 2016, Director and Vice President of Mizuho Realty Co. Ltd. in April 2017, Director and President of Heisei Building Co. Ltd. in April 2021, Outside Director of the Company in June 2025, and Outside Director (Audit and Supervisory Committee Member) of the Company in June 2026 (to present). Chihiro Katakura joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (currently Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC) in April 2005, registered as a Certified Public Accountant in July 2008, established Katakura Certified Public Accountant Office and appointed Representative in October 2024 (to present), Outside Director of ROUND ONE Corporation in June 2025 (to present), and Outside Director (Audit and Supervisory Committee Member) of the Company in June 2026 (to present). The term of appointment was until the conclusion of the Company's Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled to be held in June 2027.
