Rakus Increases Plus Alpha Consulting Stake to 22.21% Under New SaaS Alliance Rakus will raise its stake in Plus Alpha Consulting to 22.21%, turning it into an equity-method affiliate under a new capital and business alliance MOU focused on HR and back-office SaaS for SME digital transformation.
The MOU sets out long-term collaboration, including a non-executive Rakus director on Plus Alpha Consulting’s board, defined rules for any further share purchases, and safeguards for Plus Alpha Consulting’s managerial autonomy while the two companies pursue product and customer synergies.
Rakus shares trade at ¥1,017, with the stock up 14.0% over the past 30 days.
The key read-through is that Rakus is tying itself more closely to Plus Alpha Consulting’s SaaS capabilities and SME customer base, while still leaving operating control with Plus Alpha Consulting. This concentrates both the potential benefits and the execution risk of the alliance. Announcement • Jul 15
