It also provides preventative healthcare, including annual medical check-ups that include comprehensive laboratory tests, stress ECG tests, eye exams, and others; witness services for medical experts and medical committees, including for disability and workers comp; and occupational healthcare, including occupational safety and health regulated medical exams, exposure to hazardous materials, and occupational disability claims, as well as assisting organizations in promoting early detection of diseases and medical conditions within the workforce by offering periodical check-ups and specialized examinations. In addition, the company offers medical examinations, including at home, for the underwriting of insurance policies for health, disability, life, or nursing home policyholders; medical and psychological evaluations, including for truck drivers, public transportation drivers, and drivers of hazardous cargos; remote monitoring of chronic patients; telehealth hot-line services; and doctors’ virtual visits. It has a collaboration agreement with Mayo Clinic to evaluate the incidence of emergency department visits, re-hospitalizations, and major adverse cardiovascular events over a period of 90 days after first hospitalization for a heart attack for patients using SmartHeart 12 lead ECG.
