Beijing North Star Company Limited Provides Group Earnings Guidance for the Half Year Ended 30 June 2026

Beijing North Star Company Limited provided group earnings guidance for the half year ended 30 June 2026. For the period, the Company announced that the profit attributable to owners of the Company is estimated to continue to record a loss, details of which are set out as follows: Based on the preliminary assessment by the Company's finance department: The net loss attributable to owners of the Company for the first half of 2026 is estimated to range from RMB 881,000,000 to RMB 1,080,000,000, continuing to record a loss as compared with the corresponding period of the preceding year. Among these, the net loss (excluding gains or losses from changes in fair value of investment properties) attributable to owners of the Company ranges from RMB 701,000,000 to RMB 860,000,000. The net loss (excluding gains or losses from changes in fair value of investment properties and after deduction of non-recurring profit and loss) attributable to owners of the Company for the first half year of 2026 is estimated to range from RMB 721,000,000 to RMB 880,000,000, continuing to record a loss as compared with the corresponding period of the preceding year. Results for the corresponding period of the preceding year: The loss attributable to owners of the Company was RMB 1,647,124,000 (or RMB 1,475,877,000 if excluding gains or losses from changes in fair value of investment properties); and the loss attributable to owners of the Company (excluding gains or losses from changes in fair value of investment properties and after deduction of non-recurring profit and loss) was RMB 1,501,570,000. Losses per share attributable to ordinary shareholders of the Company were RMB 0.4892 (or RMB 0.4383 if excluding gains or losses from changes in fair value of investment properties, or RMB0.4460 if excluding gains or losses from changes in fair value of investment properties and after deduction of non-recurring profit and loss). During the reporting period, the loss attributable to owners of the Company achieved a significant year-on-year decrease in losses. Specifically, the operations of the Company's convention and exhibition and supporting facilities services segment remained stable. However, the real estate development segment - which balanced pricing and inventory turnover - continued to incur losses, resulting in an overall loss for the Company.
