The company is also involved in film production and syndication; other information and entertainment related activities; television entertainment production; design, construction, maintenance, and storage of sets for TV, stage plays, and concerts; music recording, publishing, and video distribution; radio broadcasting and management; events management; sales implementation; traffic services and monitoring; transportation, hauling, and trucking; manpower; and pre-production services. In addition, it engages in the crafting, planning, and handling of advertising and other forms of promotions, including multi-media productions; provision of printing solutions for marketing materials, signages, and event branding; rental of video wall, lighting, and sound equipment rental, as well as mobile LED and robotics trucks; post-production services for shoots, videos, and online gaming; and new media, marketing, and converging technology businesses. The company was formerly known as Republic Broadcasting System, Inc. and changed its name to GMA Network, Inc. in 1996. GMA Network, Inc. was incorporated in 1950 and is headquartered in Quezon City, the Philippines.
