Further, it specializes in electro instrumentation and telecommunications engineering, and system integration; engineering procurement and construction contracting; project management and site management services; and engineering, simulation-based training services to heavy equipment operations, product rental, product training, and support services. It serves defense, maritime, oil and gas, and aerospace industries in Norway and internationally. Kongsberg Maritime AS has a strategic alliance with Huntington Ingalls Industries. The company was founded in 1814 and is based in Kongsberg, Norway with additional offices worldwide.
