Nikko Company engages in manufacturing activities of housing environmental equipment in Japan and internationally. The company operates through three segments housing environmental equipment business, functional ceramic products, and ceramics businesses. The Housing Environmental Equipment Business segment offers septic tanks, disposer treatment systems, system bathrooms, multifunctional building materials, and other synthetic resin products, as well as maintenance of water treatment facilities. The Functional Ceramic Products Business segment provides alumina substrates, printed circuit boards, resistor substrates, glaze substrates, low temperature sintered multi-layer boards, and other functional ceramic products. The Ceramics Business segment offers bone China; hard pottery; and reinforced, heat resistant, white reinforced, and reduced porcelain products, as well as porcelain raw materials and other tableware related products. The company was founded in 1908 and is headquartered in Hakusan, Japan.
