The Architectural & Housing Construction segment builds and markets office building, factory, apartment and others. The New Business segment engages in development of overseas and other activities. The Plant Construction segment constructs petroleum refineries, gas, petrochemical, waste and water treatment plants. The Infra Works segment constructs roads, railways, water reservoirs, ports, industrial parks, and underground structures, as well as privately funded infrastructure projects. The Green Business segment includes wastewater treatment plants, power plants, district heating, power control facility, and other businesses. The Others segment constructs resorts and other construction. The company was formerly known as LG Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. and changed its name to GS Engineering & Construction Corporation in March 2005. GS Engineering & Construction Corporation was incorporated in 1969 and is based in Seoul, South Korea.
