Nishat Hotels and Properties Limited, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited (KASE:DGKC), Nishat Mills Limited (KASE:NML), Nishat Power Limited (KASE:NPL), Nishat Chunian Power Limited (KASE:NCPL), Lalpir Power Limited (KASE:LPL) and Pakgen Power Limited (KASE:PKGP) completed the acquisition of 3.20% stake in Rafhan Maize Products Co. Limited (KASE:RMPL).
Nishat Hotels and Properties Limited, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited (KASE:DGKC), Nishat Mills Limited (KASE:NML), Nishat Power Limited (KASE:NPL), Nishat Chunian Power Limited (KASE:NCPL), Lalpir Power Limited (KASE:LPL) and Pakgen Power Limited (KASE:PKGP) proposed to acquire 3.20% stake in Rafhan Maize Products Co. Limited (KASE:RMPL) for PKR 2.9 billion on March 26, 2026. A cash consideration of PKR 2.93 billion valued at PKR 9800 per share will be paid by Nishat Hotels and Properties Limited, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited, Nishat Mills Limited, Nishat Power Limited, Nishat Chunian Power Limited, Lalpir Power Limited and Pakgen Power Limited. As part of consideration, PKR 2.93 billion is paid towards common equity of Rafhan Maize Products Co. Limited. As of May 12, 2026, the Acceptance Period will commence on May 14, 2026 and will end on May 20, 2026.
The expected completion of the transaction is May 20, 2026.

Nishat Hotels and Properties Limited, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited (KASE:DGKC), Nishat Mills Limited (KASE:NML), Nishat Power Limited (KASE:NPL), Nishat Chunian Power Limited (KASE:NCPL), Lalpir Power Limited (KASE:LPL) and Pakgen Power Limited (KASE:PKGP) completed the acquisition of 3.20% stake in Rafhan Maize Products Co. Limited (KASE:RMPL) on June 30, 2026. In a related transaction, Ingredion Incorporated completed the previously announced sale of 51% of the issued share capital of Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd. As part of the Transaction, the Purchasers acquired approximately 78% of the outstanding shares of Rafhan Maize, inclusive of Ingredion’s approximately 51% ownership interest. Following completion of the Transaction, Ingredion retains an approximately 20% minority ownership interest in Rafhan Maize.
