It also provides miscellaneous insurance products, including money in ATM booths, cash in private/commercial premises, fidelity guarantee, workmen's compensation, safe deposit box all risk, Hajj and Umrah travel, personal accident, public liability, and bankers blanket bond and electronic computer crime insurance, as well as money in safe, money in transit, and money on counter products. The company was formerly known as Janata Insurance Company Limited and changed its name to Janata Insurance PLC. Janata Insurance PLC was incorporated in 1986 and is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
