Gmo Internet Group, Inc. Announces Appointment of Hirofumi Yamashita as Head of Group Ai Transformation, Effective July 14, 2026 GMO Internet Group, Inc. announced that at a meeting of the Board of Directors convened on July 14, 2026, the company established the Group AI Acceleration Division as a specialized organization to concentrate Group-wide resources and strongly promote the implementation of business AI agents. At the same time, Hirofumi Yamashita, Executive Vice President, was appointed General Manager of the Group AI Acceleration Division and Head of Group AI Transformation, responsible for executing the Group’s AI transformation under the Group CAIO. Hirofumi Yamashita's new titles are Executive Vice President /Head of Group Systems Division /General Manager of Group AI Acceleration Division /Head of Group AI Transformation /Executive Vice President of GMO Internet, Inc. His previous titles were Executive Vice President /Head of Group Systems Division /Executive Vice President of GMO Internet, Inc. The effective date of these changes is July 14, 2026.
