T2 Metals Corp. Begins Drilling At Aurora Gold-Silver Project in Yukon T2 Metals Corp. announce that drilling has commenced at its Aurora Gold-Silver Project in the Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt, one of North America's most prolific gold regions. This marks both the Company's first drill program in the Yukon, and the first drilling completed at Aurora in over 15 years. Drilling follows a successful early summer mapping, prospecting and sampling program that has identified new zones of gold, copper and antimony mineralization and provided additional context for known gold mineralization. Drill Program Highlights · RAB (rotary air blast) drilling is underway, providing low-cost, rapid prospecting of targets identified within past data and prioritized through the Company's 2026 mapping programs; · The program is being carried out by GroundTruth Exploration, an experienced drilling and exploration contractor with a track record delivering similar programs across the territory; · Approximately 20 holes for 1,400 m are planned in this initial phase, testing multiple shallow targets in the vicinity of three known mineralized areas - TK, JC, Rainbow (together the Anaconda prospect) where past and recent sampling has discovered high grade gold and semi- massive chalcopyrite mineralization; Drill cuttings are being analyzed in the field using a portable XRF (X-ray fluorescence) unit, allowing the field team to make same-day decisions on hole placement and program direction; A downhole viewer is being used to assess structural controls on mineralization, helping refine geological models ahead of follow-up diamond drilling; Aurora covers a district-scale 76 km² land package in the Yukon's Dawson Mining District, first staked by renowned prospector and explorer Shawn Ryan in 2004. The Project sits only 8 km west of Prospector Metals' ML Project, where recent drilling intersected 44 m averaging 13.79 g/t gold and 1.84% copper. Despite this pedigree, Aurora has seen less than 3,000 m of historical drilling in total, and no drilling in over 15 years, leaving multiple gold, silver, copper and antimony targets largely untested. The commencement of this program represents a significant and long-awaited step to unlock the Project's exploration potential. T2 Metals Corp. Provides Exploration Update At Aurora Project, Yukon, Canada T2 Metals Corp. provided an update on the exploration program underway at its Aurora Gold-Silver Project ("Aurora" or the "Project") in the Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt, one of North America's most prolific gold regions. Field crews are well advanced on geological mapping, rock and soil sampling, with mapping successfully discovering new outcrops and rock float bearing semi-massive sulphide mineralization containing chalcopyrite (copper sulphide) and stibnite (antimony sulphide). Furthermore, an airborne LiDAR survey has been completed, and drill site preparation is underway. Project Location: The Aurora Project is located in the Yukon's Dawson Mining District, one of the territory's most active exploration regions, known for district-scale gold systems, significant discoveries and ongoing exploration success. The Project covers a large, district-scale land package of 76 km², first staked by renowned Yukon prospector and explorer Shawn Ryan in 2004. The Project is located only 8 km west of Prospector Metals' ML Project where recent drilling discovered high grades of copper and gold including 44 m averaging 13.79 g/t gold and 1.84% copper in hole ML25-31 (see Prospector Metals news release dated October 1, 2025). The Aurora and ML projects share a similar geological setting and discovery potential. Furthermore, Brewery Creek, a past-producing open-pit gold mine lies 30 km south of Aurora. Aurora has returned high-grade gold from surface sampling Exploration Program Highlights & Results Work completed to date at Aurora forms part of the Company's Q3/Q4 2026 multi-disciplinary field programs announced on June 30, 2026. Highlights include: · Airborne LiDAR survey at 10 pts/m2 sample spacing was completed across the Project. When processed, the data will enable refinement of the structural setting of mineralization, highlight intrusion-related targets and facilitate access planning ahead of drilling programs. · More than 120 rock samples and 3,000 soil samples collected and submitted for assay to date across a 10 km x 5 km area. The soil/auger sampling program is being led by Callum Ryan, reflecting the prior sampling protocols used by project vendor Shawn Ryan. · Geological mapping with rock sampling was completed over the highest-priority drill target areas where past work had identified gold, silver and copper mineralization: limited historical drilling yet remains largely untested and offers considerable exploration upside. Tombstone Gold Belt:The Tombstone Gold Belt, a component of the larger Tintina Gold Province, is a highly prospective metallogenic province in the Yukon, with a range of well-known and emerging gold discoveries. The belt is characterized by a suite of mid-Cretaceous, reduced, felsic intrusions known as the Tombstone Plutonic Suite. These intrusive bodies and the surrounding host rocks have created conditions for the formation of major reduced intrusion-related gold systems ("RIRGS"). Exploration efforts have identified that gold is often hosted in sheeted quartz veins and as disseminated mineralization within both the intrusive bodies and the hornfelsed country rocks. Gold mineralization in the Tombstone Gold Belt is typically associated with a distinctive multi-element signature that includes bismuth, tellurium, and tungsten, along with arsenic and antimony. Gold-fluids exsolved from cooling intrusions and preferentially deposited gold in brittle, structurally controlled environments. Both high-grade, structurally-controlled vein systems and lower-grade, bulk-tonnage deposits are known. The region hosts numerous significant deposits and is the site of recent discoveries by companies such as Snowline Gold, Banyan Gold and Sitka Gold. Announcement • Jul 16
T2 Metals Completes Airborne Aeromagnetic and Radiometric Survey At Shanghai Project Yukon Canada T2 Metals Corp. has completed a helicopter-borne, high-resolution aeromagnetic and radiometric survey over its Shanghai Silver-Gold Project in the Tombstone Gold Belt, one of North America’s most prolific gold regions. The survey provides a new dataset to highlight structure and enable the direct identification of intrusive rocks that may be associated with gold and silver mineralization discovered to date. The Shanghai Project is located in the Yukon’s Mayo Mining District, a historical and active precious metals region widely known for large-scale gold-silver systems, major discoveries and operating mines. Despite sharing significant geological similarities to both Keno Hill and AurMac, and hosting high-grade silver-gold mineralization, Shanghai remains largely underexplored and has never been drilled. The survey was flown by Precision GeoSurveys of Langley, British Columbia, and forms part of the Company’s Third Quarter/Fourth Quarter 2026 multi-disciplinary field program announced on June 30, 2026. Shanghai lies 3 km north of the AurMac deposit and 12 km west of the Keno Hill Mine. The survey type is helicopter-borne, low-level combined aeromagnetic and radiometric (gamma-ray spectrometer) survey. The objective is to map buried/blind Tombstone Plutonic Suite intrusions and associated hornfels/alteration footprints with potential to be mineralized. Coverage is approximately 31 sq km /425 line-km across the Shanghai Project and surrounding areas. Instrumentation includes a nose-mounted cesium vapor magnetometer (<0.01 nT sensitivity) and a 21-litre, 512-channel NaI(Tl) gamma-ray spectrometer. Precision GeoSurveys is now finalizing magnetic and radiometric corrections and maps, with results expected within approximately two weeks. The survey was designed to trace the subsurface extent of the mid-Cretaceous Tombstone Plutonic Suite – the reduced, felsic intrusions responsible for Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems throughout the belt. Magnetic data will help define the geometry, depth and structural setting of buried or blind intrusive bodies, while radiometric data, particularly the potassium response, is expected to highlight the hornfels and hydrothermal alteration halos that typically envelope these systems and their associated gold mineralization. Results will be integrated with the Company’s existing soil and rock geochemistry, geological mapping and LiDAR datasets to refine drill targets. The Project is prospective for both Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems and Keno Hill-style Ag-Pb-Zn veins, with evidence for both styles identified within existing datasets. A total of 425 line-kilometres was flown across the Shanghai Project and surrounding areas, covering approximately 31 sq km. The area was flown at a line spacing of 100 metres on a north-south orientation, with perpendicular tie lines flown at a ratio of one tie line for every ten survey lines. Surveying was flown at a nominal terrain clearance of 40 metres to maximize resolution. The survey simultaneously acquired high-resolution magnetic data using a nose-mounted cesium vapor magnetometer (sensitivity better than 0.01 nT) and radiometric (potassium, uranium, thorium) data using a 21-litre, 512-channel gamma-ray spectrometer carried internal to the aircraft.
