Wescan Goldfields Inc. Completes Relog and Resample Program on Historical Munro Lake Core Wescan Goldfields Inc. has completed a relog and resample program on two of the four holes drilled during its 2013 diamond drilling campaign at the Munro Lake Project. Drill holes EXML-001 and EXML-002 returned 7.1 g/t gold over 1.02 metres and 67.1 g/t gold over 1.00 metre, respectively (see Company news release dated June 17, 2013); however, both holes were only sparsely sampled at the time. The program commenced on July 22, 2026 and was completed on August 11, 2026, during which the Company's technical team relogged and systematically resampled both holes from top to bottom, collecting a total of 305 samples from core stored at the Company's Jasper Mine site. Multiple intervals of quartz veining were observed in both holes that had not been previously sampled, along with sulphide and diopside bearing calc-silicate alteration -- an alteration assemblage associated with gold mineralization at the nearby Seabee and Santoy mines operated by SSR Mining Inc. Core was sawn in half, with one half submitted for analysis and one half retained in the core box as a witness sample. Blanks and certified reference standards were inserted as per Company protocols. All samples have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories for analysis, and results are pending. The Company intends to return to fully sample the remaining two holes from the 2013 campaign following the conclusion of its planned 2026 drilling program at Munro Lake. Announcement • Aug 10

Wescan Goldfields Inc. Stakes New Lindsay Lake Gold Project Within the Emerging La Ronge Gold Belt Wescan Goldfields Inc. has staked a new 1,852-hectare gold claim, the Lindsay Lake Project (the "Property"), in Saskatchewan's historic La Ronge Gold Belt. The Property lies only 7.1 kilometres south of the past-producing Komis Gold Mine. The La Ronge Gold Belt is one of Saskatchewan's most prospective gold districts, host to numerous past-producing gold mines and gold deposits. The Lindsay Lake Project adds to Wescan's existing land package within the belt, which includes the Company's Fork Lake and Jojay Lake properties. The metavolcanic rocks of the La Ronge Gold Belt host the majority of the gold mineralization identified within the belt. The Property covers these same La Ronge metavolcanic rocks, which also host the gold mineralization at the Komis Gold Mine. In addition, the claim covers a prospective geological contact where the metavolcanic rocks meet a large granodiorite intrusive body. Gold-bearing veins in the La Ronge Gold Belt are commonly emplaced along this type of contact, which marks a significant rheological contrast, or plane of weakness, that can focus mineralizing fluids and localize gold deposition. The Company intends to prospect the Property going forward. A forest fire burned through the area last summer, removing vegetation and ground cover, and the Company anticipates significant rock exposure that will aid prospecting and geological mapping across the claim. The Property also benefits from excellent access, located only 1.8 kilometres from the Komis Mine access road and approximately 4 kilometres from Highway 102. The combination of favourable host rocks, a prospective intrusive contact, enhanced rock exposure and excellent access leads the Company to consider the Property to be highly prospective for gold mineralization.
