It also provides zinc and zinc base alloys; chemical products; lead, tin, bismuth, and antimony trioxide; gold and silver ingots and powders, concentrated and fuming sulfuric acid, and electric copper, copper ingots, and wire rods; and mineral and geothermal resources, as well as mineral resources development and environmental protection engineering services. In addition, the company engages in corrosion prevention; engineering; mechatronics; perlite; information technology systems; and rolled copper businesses. Further, it is involved in nonferrous metal smelting; precious metal recycling; raw material related businesses; and manufacturing and sale of automotive parts/components. The company was formerly known as Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Mitsui Kinzoku Company, Limited in October 2025.
