Seres Group Co.,Ltd Provides Earnings Guidance for the Period from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026
Seres Group Co.,Ltd provided earnings guidance for the period from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026. Based on preliminary estimates by the finance department, the Company estimates to record a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company of RMB 1,500 million to RMB 1,800 million for the first half of 2026, representing a loss compared with the corresponding period of the previous year (statutorily disclosed data). In particular, it is estimated that Seres Auto Co. Ltd. ("AITO Auto") will record a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company of RMB 1,050 million to RMB 1,300 million for the first half of 2026. The Company estimates to record a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring profit or loss of RMB 2,200 million to RMB 2,500 million for the first half of 2026. In particular, it is estimated that AITO Auto will record a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring profit or loss of RMB 1,700 million to RMB 1,950 million for the first half of 2026. Affected by factors such as the price increase of major raw materials, including memory chips, industrial metals, and lithium carbonate, the production costs of the Company have increased accordingly. Based on the principle of prudence and to further strengthen the overall asset quality, taking into account the expected future returns of the assets, the carrying amount of certain existing assets with limited adaptability resulting from technological iterations and vehicle model upgrades has been adjusted. As a result of the foregoing factors, the financial performance of AITO Auto, a core subsidiary of the Company, experienced fluctuations and turned from profit to loss, recording a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company of RMB 1,900 million to RMB 2,150 million for the second quarter. Therefore, it is expected that the consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the current period will be negative. At present, the Company maintains ample cash reserves and a robust asset-liability structure, which provide solid support for business development, technological research and development, and strategic investments, thereby demonstrating strong going concern capabilities and resilience against risks.
