The company manufactures, imports, markets, distributes, and retails pharmaceuticals to retail pharmacies, modern trade, institutions, government tenders, and government-owned pharmacy chains in the areas of dermatological, diabetic, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and pain management drugs; distributes surgical and diagnostic equipment; and provides a range of health and wellness solutions. It is also involved in the planation of oil palm, rubber, and cinnamon; and operates a dairy farm. In addition, the company produces tea under the Zesta, Watawala, and Ran Kahata brands; and toffees, jellies, chocolates, bubblegum, desserts, biscuits, and snacks under the Milady and Daintee brands. Sunshine Holdings PLC was founded in 1967 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
