The company owns 100% interests in the TECH project, which is a refinery that produces nickel sulphate, cobalt sulphate, cobalt, alumina, and hematite for the lithium-ion battery, electric vehicle, and steel sectors located in northern Queensland; and the Moranbah gas project, which collects, processes, and transports waste mine gas for industrial users and electricity generation located in the Northern Bowen Basin. In addition, the company operates two carbon abatement hubs, which are multi-user waste gas collection and processing facilities located in the Northern Bowen Basin. Further, it generates and sells electricity from waste mine gas. The company was formerly known as Queensland Pacific Metals Limited and changed its name to QPM Energy Limited in November 2024. QPM Energy Limited was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Brisbane, Australia.
