It invests in the public equity markets across the globe excluding Australia. The fund invests directly and also through foreign currency forward contracts in the stocks of companies operating in the metal mining sector, which include mining of precious metals such as gold, silver, and other. It invests in the stocks of companies across all market capitalizations, with a minimum market capitalization of $500 million and the returns being hedged to Australian dollar. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Nasdaq Global ex-Australia Gold Miners Hedged AUD Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index.
