DEME Group NV, together with its subsidiaries, provides marine solutions in the fields of offshore energy, dredging, marine infrastructure, and environmental works in Belgium, Europe, Africa, the United States, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. It operates through four segments: Offshore Energy, Dredging & Infra, Environmental, and Concessions. The company offers maintenance dredging, coastal protection, port construction, capital dredging, beach nourishment, breakwaters and dams, and land reclamation services; offshore solutions, including engineering, procurement, construction and installation of foundations, power cables and umbilicals, wind turbine generators, geosciences, landfall construction, rock placement, and floating offshore wind, as well as platform installation, decommissioning, and heavy lifting services. It also provides soil remediation and brownfield development, environmental dredging and sediment treatment, and water treatment services. In addition, the company is involved in infrastructure activities comprising locks and weirs, immersed tunnels, bored tunnels, cut and cover tunnels, quay walls and ports, marine and inland waterwaterway jetties, and foundation works; and concession activities, including offshore wind concessions, dredging and infra concessions, green hydrogen, and global sea mineral resources. Further, it engages in the provision of operations and maintenance, logistics, repair and decommissioning, as well as salvage services; geoscience services and the installation of suction pile anchors; contracting services for marine infrastructure projects; and marine aggregate business. The company was formerly known as Dredging Environmental and Marine Engineering NV. The company was founded in 1930 and is headquartered in Zwijndrecht, Belgium. DEME Group NV is a subsidiary of Ackermans & Van Haaren NV.
