CGN Huizhou No. 3 Nuclear Power Announces Approval for Construction of Huizhou Unit 5 and Unit 6 CGN Huizhou No. 3 Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. had been approved by the State Council. Currently, the Company and Huizhou No. 3 Nuclear Power are carrying out various preparatory work for the construction of the above-mentioned units in an orderly manner, the full construction of which will begin when the “Permit for Nuclear Power Station Construction” has been obtained from the National Nuclear Safety Administration. CGN Power Co., Ltd. Appoints Zhou Jianping as General Counsel CGN Power Co., Ltd. announces that, pursuant to the Articles of Association of CGN Power Co., Ltd., and upon consideration by the Board, Mr. Zhou Jianping has been appointed as the general counsel of the Company. Mr. Zhou, born in 1972, has served as a vice president of the Company since January 2023. He has a doctorate degree and is a professorate senior engineer. Mr. Zhou has more than 25 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. From June 2014 to July 2018, he successively served as an assistant to the general manager and the deputy general manager of Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. He served as the general manager of the Safety and Quality Assurance Department of the Company from July 2018 to March 2019, the secretary of the party committee and the general manager of Fangchenggang Nuclear from March 2019 to December 2020, and the secretary of the party committee and the chairman of the board of directors of Fangchenggang Nuclear from December 2020 to February 2022. During his time as the secretary of the party committee and the chairman of the board of directors of Fangchenggang Nuclear from February 2022 to April 2022, he also served as the general manager of the Safety, Quality and Environmental Department of the Company. He served as the general manager of the Safety, Quality and Environmental Department of the Company from April 2022 to September 2023. The terms of office of Mr. Zhou concurrently acting as the general counsel of the Company shall commence on January 21, 2026 and expire on December 31, 2027. CGN Power Co., Ltd. Proposes Abolishment of the Supervisory Committee The board of directors of CGN Power Co., Ltd. announced that, to comply with regulatory requirements, the Company proposes to amend certain articles under the existing Articles of Association. After amendment the English name will remain unchanged; the Supervisory Committee will be abolished, and its duties and powers as stipulated in the Company Law will be exercised by the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board; the Procedural Rules of the Supervisory Committee of the Company and other policies related to the Supervisory Committee will be repealed accordingly.
