Kingboard Holdings Limited Provides Group Earnings Guidance for the Six Months Ended 30 June 2026 Kingboard Holdings Limited provided group earnings guidance for the six months ended 30 June 2026. For the period, the Group is expecting to record a net profit of more than HKD 2.7 billion for the Reporting Period, representing an increase in net profit of more than 4% for such period as compared with the corresponding period in 2025. The Group's net profit for the Reporting Period is expected to increase due to the significant increase of over 200% in the laminates business reporting segment profit compared with the corresponding period in 2025, as partially offset by the loss recorded in the Group's investment business reporting segment for the period as described in the next paragraph below. Due to the robust demand for laminates and its upstream materials including electronic fibreglass yarn, electronic fibreglass fabric and copper foil in the market, the unit price of the Group's laminates and its upstream materials products has generally increased significantly, and the sales quantity of laminates has also increased compared with the corresponding period in 2025, resulting in the significant increase in the laminates business reporting segment profit. The shortage of electronic fibreglass yarn, electronic fibreglass fabric, copper foil and laminates in the market has become more acute.
