SAKURA internet Inc. revised consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ending September 30, 2026 and the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. For the six months ending September 30, 2026, the company now expects consolidated net sales of JPY 22,500 million, consolidated operating profit of JPY 2,200 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 1,400 million, and consolidated net income per share of JPY 34.97, compared to the previous forecast of net sales of JPY 21,000 million, operating profit of JPY 650 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 350 million, and net income per share of JPY 8.74.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company now expects consolidated net sales of JPY 45,500 million, consolidated operating profit of JPY 2,500 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 1,500 million, and consolidated net income per share of JPY 37.46, compared to the previous forecast of net sales of JPY 45,000 million, operating profit of JPY 1,500 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 850 million, and net income per share of JPY 21.24. The revision reflects strong performance in GPU infrastructure services, increased demand for AI-related businesses, and favorable cost factors. Reason for the Revision: The Company announced an upward revision to its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, reflecting the strong performance of its GPU infrastructure services. Net sales exceeded the initial forecast in the first quarter. In the GPU infrastructure services, enhanced supply capacity resulting from the integrated management of sales and service delivery operations enabled the Company to accelerate the launch of projects to meet customers' needs for early service deployment, resulting in performance above the initial forecast. Looking ahead, the Company expects further growth in demand driven by the expansion of the generative AI market and continues to see strong customer inquiries. Accordingly, the Company expects to maintain high GPU utilization rates through the continued prioritization of management resources toward AI-related businesses. In addition, Cloud services are seeing an increase in large-scale and long-term projects, supported in part by the positive impact of the Company's selection as a Government Cloud provider. In light of these developments, the Company will review its medium- to long-term growth plans. With respect to profit, the increase in net sales resulting from the high utilization of GPU infrastructure services exceeded the associated increase in costs during the first quarter. From the second quarter onward, the Company plans to reinvest a portion of this upside into initiatives aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of its AI and cloud-related services and expanding sales channels, thereby maximizing growth opportunities. At the same time, the Company expects certain favorable factors, including lower-than-expected electricity costs, the capitalization of a portion of Government Cloud development costs that had initially been expected to be recognized as expenses, and the postponement of the recognition of certain expenses. Accordingly, while incorporating additional growth investments, the Company has revised upward its consolidated earnings forecasts for both the six-month period ending September 30, 2026 and the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
