New Age Metals Advances 2026 Field Exploration Program Across Kenora Gold and Critical Metals Division
New Age Metals has commenced field activities at priority target areas within its Bonanza Ridge Gold and Critical Metals Project, while continuing regional data compilation, target generation, and exploration planning across its broader Kenora land package, including the Double R Gold Project and recently added Dash Lake Gold-Copper Project. The 2026 program is designed to improve the Company’s geological and structural understanding of known mineral occurrences, evaluate priority exploration targets, and generate follow-up work programs, including potential drill-ready targets. Initial fieldwork has been completed at the Kite Lake, Blue Star, Triggs, and South Powerline target areas within the Bonanza Ridge Gold and Critical Metals Project. A total of 101 grab samples were collected during the initial June field rotation. Assay results are pending. At Blue Star, the Company identified and mapped additional quartz veining, silicified mafic volcanic rocks, and carbonate-breccia zones in proximity to known quartz-vein occurrences. A quartz vein was exposed approximately 250 metres southeast of the Blue Star showing, measuring up to approximately one metre in width over an exposed strike length of approximately five metres. Recent stripping at the Triggs target has assisted the Company in identifying additional structural and geological areas for follow-up stripping, mapping, sampling, and potential drill targeting. The overall objective of the summer/fall program is to outline drill target for the late Fall 2026 or 2027 winter. The Company’s Kenora field office and core facility is supporting regional field operations, technical work, sample handling, sleeping facilities and coordination of exploration personnel and contractors. The initial June field rotation focused on reconnaissance prospecting, geological mapping, hand stripping, structural observations, and grab sampling across selected target areas of the Bonanza Ridge Gold and Critical Metals Project. A total of 101 grab samples were collected during the program from outcrop, subcrop, quartz veins, and angular float considered by the technical team to be proximal to its source. The Company will report assay results after they have been received, reviewed, and interpreted. At the Kite Lake target area, the Company completed prospecting and mapping of roadside outcrops west of the known showing. Fieldwork focused on areas previously identified for follow-up and included sampling of gabbroic and mafic intrusive rocks displaying localized silica alteration and sulphide mineralization. Observed alteration and mineralization included pyrite, chalcopyrite, malachite, and hematite, with malachite locally occurring around chalcopyrite grains and hematite occurring along fractures. The team also identified, hand stripped, mapped, and sampled local quartz float and quartz veining. At Blue Star, the technical team extended mapping and prospecting north, east, and southeast of the main quartz-vein showing. Historical trenches were examined, hand stripped where appropriate, and sampled to evaluate the extent and character of exposed quartz veining. Approximately 20 metres north of the main Blue Star showing, the team examined a historical trench containing quartz veining with trace sulphides and malachite alteration. A further shallow trench approximately 250 metres southeast of Blue Star exposed a quartz vein measuring up to approximately one metre in width over an exposed strike length of approximately five metres. The vein displayed variable glassy to sugary textures, together with carbonate and hematite alteration. The Company also identified a silicified mafic volcanic zone and two carbonate-breccia zones situated between and broadly parallel to known vein systems. These observations will be incorporated into the Company’s structural interpretation and target-generation work. At the South Powerline target area, the Company completed follow-up prospecting and sampling of quartz veining in the vicinity of a known gold showing. This work forms part of the Company’s broader evaluation of known mineral occurrences and prospective structural settings across the Bonanza Ridge property package. The combined land position of the Bonanza Ridge Gold and Critical Metals Project now forms a approximately 8,500 ha, strategically located exploration portfolio within the Kenora Gold District, an emerging Ontario jurisdiction for both precious and critical metals. At the Triggs target area, the technical team reviewed recent mechanical stripping and examined exposed mafic volcanic rocks, quartz veining, and granitic intrusive bodies. Initial observations included locally foliation-parallel quartz veining within mafic volcanic rocks and irregular, locally hematite-rich quartz veins associated with granitic bodies. Based on these observations, the Company has identified several priority areas north of the historical Triggs Shaft for additional stripping and bedrock exposure work. The planned follow-up work is intended to better define the relationship between an interpreted south-dipping fault and north-dipping quartz veins near the Triggs Shaft; examine surface features potentially associated with historical east-west underground lateral workings; expose mafic volcanic rocks between the Triggs Shaft and nearby felsic intrusive rocks to assess potential structural controls on quartz veining and hydrothermal fluid flow; evaluate contacts between mafic volcanic and felsic intrusive rocks; and create additional north-south exposures across the felsic intrusive body to identify further quartz veining, alteration, and structural features. This work is expected to support a more detailed structural model, guide future sampling and mapping, and assist in identifying potential diamond drill targets. Depending on results, similar stripping and exposure work may also be considered south of the Triggs Shaft. In parallel with the Bonanza Ridge field program, the Company is continuing to compile and reinterpret available geological, geochemical, geophysical, LiDAR, remote-sensing, and historical exploration datasets across the Double R Gold Project and Dash Lake Gold-Copper Project. The expanded Double R land package comprises approximately 18,780 hectares across 838 mining claims in the Rainy River–Kenora district. This work is intended to identify and rank priority targets for initial field reconnaissance, geological mapping, prospecting, geochemical sampling, and future follow-up exploration. New Age Metals’ Kenora Gold and Critical Metals Division includes the approximately 8,500-hectare Bonanza Ridge Gold and Critical Metals Project, comprising the Bonanza Gold, Magnet Lake, Lavender Lake, and South Gibi Lake properties, as well as the Double R Gold Project and contiguous Dash Lake Gold-Copper Project. The Bonanza Gold Property hosts several known gold occurrences, with previous due-diligence grab samples returning up to 127 g/t Au.
