The launch of Maxi Move 5 is the second major product launch from Arjo in 2025, following the Symbliss®? bath system introduced earlier this year. Maxi Move 5 is intended for lifting, transferring and repositioning patients and residents within both hospitals and long-term care settings. It can also be used to facilitate hygiene care and rehabilitation exercises. The comprehensive range of unique features and functions includes the new Arjo Motion Assist®?. Operated via touch sensors on the caregiver handle that react to the carer's push, pull and pivoting motions, it enables efficient, controlled and intuitive transfers, with minimal effort from the caregiver. In addition, the Powered Dynamic Positioning System enables accurate seated positioning, supporting care flow efficiencies during transfers operated via the hand control or control panel. An independent clinical lab study shows that Maxi Move 5 reduces the accumulated forces required to complete a patient transfer by up to 68%, compared with competitor devices included in the study. Currently available in the United States, Germany, France and the Netherlands, Maxi Move 5 is scheduled to be launched in about 40 countries by the end of 2025.
