McDermott Circularity Calculator Aligns with ISO 59020; Supports Sustainability in Project Delivery McDermott announces the launch of a Circularity Calculator, aligned to ISO 59020 standards, to support growing demand for transparent circular economy performance measurement across the lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects. Developed in-house, the tool provides a standardized, data-driven method for assessing circularity from design through to decommissioning. The new tool is part of McDermott's strategy to embed circularity principles across all phases of project execution, with the following benefits: ISO 59020 alignment: Independently assured to meet international standards for circularity measurement. Lifecycle insights: Quantifies the recyclability or reuse potential of a design.
Measurement and reporting: Provides quantifiable data as a basis for decision making in material selection. Initially deployed across McDermott's decommissioning portfolio, the calculator quantifies circularity based on data collected after processing materials through recycling, reuse, and other disposal pathways. 공시 • Apr 03

Mcdermott International Ltd. Completes Process Module Sail Away on Tyra Redevelopment Project McDermott International has successfully completed the sail away of the Tyra East G (TEG) gas processing module on the Tyra Redevelopment Project for TotalEnergies and its Danish Underground Consortium partners Noreco and Nordsøfonden. The module weighs approximately 18,700 tons (17,000 metric tons) and set sail on September 1 from McDermott's facility in Batam, Indonesia. This important milestone is the culmination of more than 18.8 million work hours of engineering and constructing the process module. The TEG module will be a crucial part of Tyra II; the new high-tech hub for Denmark's natural gas production and will reduce CO2 emissions by 3%. The Tyra Redevelopment project represents the larger ever oil and gas investment in the Danish North Sea. Once the redeveloped Tyra II is back on stream, it is expected to deliver 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas per year which amounts to 80 percent of the forecasted Danish gas production. Tyra II will secure continued production of natural gas with 30% less CO2 emissions, significantly contributing to Denmark's energy security by reducing Denmark and the EU's dependency on Russian gas. The new facilities will be located approximately 139 miles (225 kilometers) west of Denmark in the North Sea. 공시 • Jan 28

As a web-based tool, ArborXD provides customers access to life cycle footprint estimates, cost tradeoff analyses, emission reduction pathways and environmental impact assessments. 공시 • Nov 30
Mcdermott International Ltd. Completes Net Zero LNG Construction Study for Shell McDermott recently completed a liquefied natural gas (LNG) construction study identifying tangible reduction pathways toward net-zero construction emissions on behalf of Shell Global Solutions International B.V. The results of this study provide a strategic framework for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in LNG facilities during the project execution phase. Study results include emission reduction opportunities, in order of magnitude, based on mapping key sources and the identification of low-carbon alternatives during construction. These include site efficiency improvements, replacing diesel powered equipment with lower GHG intensity alternatives, module fabrication and construction and sourcing lower intensity raw materials. The study also provides more clarity on the associated environmental, social and economic considerations of future projects. Building on this study, McDermott is also engaging with Shell to identify low-carbon solutions to help reduce GHG emissions in McDermott's operations. 공시 • Jun 03
