The project area is accessible by road, using the national road N5 from Lubumbashi towards Minga.

His numerous achievements within the DRC include the establishment of an influential pastoral community bridging Europe and Africa; the successful advocacy for development projects in Central Kasai; the implementation of humanitarian programs impacting thousands of people; the leadership of major mining operations for over 15 years; as well as the creation of strategic networks uniting the religious, humanitarian, public, and private sectors. He has served most recently as the Founder & Senior Pastor of La Source du Salut Church, Brussels, as well as Humanitarian Ambassador of the DRC representing the humanitarian priorities of rural areas to national and international institutions, overseeing key programs including agro-pastoral development, installation of drinking water wells, and youth employment initiatives. Enrique "Ric" Prado is a paramilitary, counterterrorism, and special /clandestine operations specialist. Ric is a twenty-four-year veteran of the CIA, where he served as an operations officer in six overseas posts. He was deputy chief of station and "Plank Owner" of the original bin Ladin Task Force/Issues Station under senior analyst, Michael Scheuer, as well as chief of station in a hostile country. Ric also served as chief of operations in the CIA's Counterterrorist Center (CTC) during the September 11th attacks, where he helped coordinate CIA/CTC's special operations activities with the National Security Council and FBI, as well as with elite U.S. military representatives from Delta Force and SEAL-Team Six, then detailed to CIA/CTC. Copper Intelligence Announces Transportation Of Drill Rig To Butembo Copper Intelligence announced together with our drilling partner Gemdrill, that the company's XY–44 drill rig will be transported to the Butembo DRC project site. Transit time is estimated at approximately 2–3 weeks, ensuring the rig is on the ground and ready to support the company's upcoming Butembo drilling campaign. The company anticipates a travel window of approximately 2–3 weeks to get the XY–44 drill to the DRC border. From that point, unloading will occur at the yard in the town of Kasindi, enabling the triaxle long-range transport truck. A further week is estimated to mobilize all equipment to site. One additional week will be required to establish camp, stabilize the drill setup, organize equipment, and complete all necessary preparations before drilling can commence. Barring any customs or transit issues enroute, it is anticipated that the drill will be operational mid-April with initial site-based analyses of copper ore core being released at the beginning of May. The company anticipates a social media and in-person Analyst Day for the attendance of Sell-Side and Institutional Investors to be held and televised from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the mid-May timeframe. On Feb. 4, 2026, African Discovery Group (AFDG), the predecessor company to Copper Intelligence, announced the signing of Definitive Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the Butembo Copper Asset in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in a Reverse Takeover Transaction (RTO), solidifying its status as the first stand-alone DRC company to be publicly traded in the United States. Butembo is a near surface, low strip, Tier one exploration opportunity, located near the Ruwenzori mountain location of Uganda's biggest copper mine (Kilembe with 4 million tons of verified reserves), located only 50km from the Ugandan border with verified access to rail. The High-grade copper samples thus far have returned 18% Copper assays, which if maintained at production would rank amongst the highest globally. (OTCPK:AFDG) signed a term sheet to acquire Societe Grabin Mining SAS on September 25, 2025. The stock-based transaction will create a copper exploration company, with a focus on creating value around Africa and DRC specifically focused on under explored basins of copper. On closing of the Transaction, the Company is expected to change corporate name, domicile, and trading symbol to reflect the nature of the new operations, and apply for an up listing to the NASDAQ exchange, subject to regulatory approval. As part of the closing of the transaction, African Discovery Group, Inc is expected to issue shares to Societe Grabin Mining SAS. The Transaction is expected to result in the existing African Discovery Group, Inc shareholders retaining a minority ownership of the Company. AFDG is aiming to close the Transaction in Q4 2025, subject to due diligence and financing contingency.
