공지 • Jan 22WaFd, Inc. and WaFd Bank Announces Transition of James Endrizzi from Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Banker to Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Commercial Real Estate Banking for Utah and IdahoWaFd, Inc. and WaFd Bank announced that effective January 16, 2025, Mr. James Endrizzi, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Banker of WaFd, Inc. and WaFd Bank, will be transitioning to a new role as the Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Commercial Real Estate Banking for Utah and Idaho, where he will focus on commercial real estate lending in the Utah and Idaho regions. In connection with this change, Mr. Endrizzi will no longer sit on the Executive Management Committee of the Company and will no longer be an executive officer. Mr. Endrizzi’s duties as Chief Commercial Banker have been reassigned to other officers of the Bank.

Announces CEO ChangesOn January 2, 2023 Brent Beardall, President and CEO of Washington Federal, Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiary Washington Federal Bank, dba WaFd Bank, was on board a private plane that crashed in Provo, Utah. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital for surgery with multiple injuries, including broken bones and lacerations, and is expected to make a full recovery. Mr. Beardall will take a temporary leave of absence from his duties as President and CEO while he recovers from his injuries. Effective January 3, 2023, Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Banker, Cathy Cooper, will temporarily assume Mr. Beardall’s duties as President and CEO during his recovery. Ms. Cooper, 57, joined WaFd Bank in 1996 and has served as an Executive Vice President of WaFd Bank overseeing retail banking and client experience since 2016. Ms. Cooper will not receive any additional compensation related to her assumption of Mr. Beardall’s duties during his absence.

Mr. LaCoste started his banking career in 1997 and over the past 25 years he has grown to be a leader in his community and the financial industry. He held leadership roles, including Region President during his 21 years at US Bank leading private banking, commercial, retail and operations. Dan is a 2010 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and has held board chair and board president roles at several non-profit organizations in the Eugene, Oregon region.

She was controller and interim Chief Financial Officer at Horizon Bank in Bellingham, Washington prior to that institution being acquired by Washington Federal Bank in 2010. Kelli holds an accounting and business administration degree from Western Washington University. She is also active as a member of the Board of Trustees and Treasurer for the Meridian Public School Foundation where she oversees the granting of college scholarships for high school graduates.
