North American Towable RV sales declined about 24.6% on weaker retail demand and cautious dealer ordering, while North American Motorized and European RV sales were more resilient, with European shipments above estimates. Operating profit declined 45.2% to $96 million and net income fell 28.1% year over year, while operating cash flow reached $234.2 million. The company repurchased $50.5 million of stock, lowered full-year EPS guidance to a range of $3.30 to $3.80, and maintained revenue guidance of $9 billion to $9.5 billion. The mix of softer earnings, reduced EPS guidance and pressure in North American Towables, alongside steadier motorized and European demand plus solid cash generation, highlights a company working through near-term headwinds while aiming to keep its long-term plans on track. Key issues to watch include execution on the North American RV realignment, any further shifts in guidance and how management balances cash between buybacks, investment in supplier operations and maintaining financial flexibility.Reported Earnings • Jun 04Third quarter 2026 earnings: Revenues exceed analysts expectations while EPS lags behindThird quarter 2026 results: EPS: US$1.86 (down from US$2.54 in 3Q 2025). 속보 • Jun 06Thor Industries Misses Earnings Forecast Lowers Full-Year Outlook as Towable RV Sales DropThor Industries reported fiscal Q3 2026 diluted EPS of $1.86, slightly below the $1.88 consensus, while revenue of $2.78 billion came in ahead of expectations despite a year-over-year decline of roughly 3.9% to 8.7%. Key issues to watch include execution on the North American RV realignment, any further shifts in guidance and how management balances cash between buybacks, investment in supplier operations and maintaining financial flexibility.

Management is reducing debt and repurchasing shares, showing long-term confidence. Structural growth drivers include increasing interest from Millennials and Gen Z, more remote workers, and long-term lifestyle shifts toward outdoor recreation. The current macro environment remains challenging, with high-interest rates, persistent inflation, tariff uncertainty, and declining consumer confidence may delay recovery in RV demand. Discounted EPS valuation suggests modest upside, but risks around execution and macro environment remain high, which is why my rating is HOLD. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha
