The Carlyle Group Inc. (NasdaqGS:CG) agreed to acquire Basf India Coatings Private Limited from BASF India Limited (NSEI:BASF) for INR 2.3 billion. The Carlyle Group Inc. (NasdaqGS:CG) agreed to acquire Basf India Coatings Private Limited from BASF India Limited (NSEI:BASF) for INR 2.3 billion on March 30, 2026. Under the terms of the acquisition, The Carlyle Group Inc. will acquire 100% stake in Basf India Coatings Private Limited through Bond German BidCo 2 GmbH and Bond France BidCo SAS. The consideration will be paid in cash and is subject to adjustments. Upon completion, Basf India Coatings Private Limited will no longer operate as a subsidiary of BASF India Limited. For the period ending March 31, 2025, Basf India Coatings Private Limited reported total revenue of INR 4.8 billion.
