This is the first ever gold-focused exploration initiative for the Project. The planned Program includes a detailed soil sampling grid designed to resolve the dimensions of the surface gold mineralization footprint at Mattie, the orientation of gold mineralization and establish targets for follow up drilling. Approximately 1,170 soil samples will be collected across an area measuring approximately 1,900 by 1,500 meters, using sample spacing of 50 meters. The Company expects the field program to take approximately 3 weeks to complete. Mattie represents a separate and distinct third style of mineralization recognized at Corral, complementing the Project’s established carbonate replacement deposit style mineralization and emerging porphyry copper potential. Located within the central portion of the Corral Project, Mattie provides the Company with an additional opportunity to evaluate the broader precious metals potential of the district. Historical exploration at Mattie included trenching, geological mapping, geochemical sampling and geophysical surveys, primarily targeting low-sulphidation gold mineralization. Despite this earlier work, the area has seen limited systematic modern exploration. The current Program is intended to provide consistent geochemical coverage across Mattie, assess the continuity of previously identified gold-bearing trends and evaluate areas concealed by limited outcrop or surface cover. Results will be integrated with historical geological, geochemical and geophysical information to refine the Company’s exploration model and identify targets for potential follow-up mapping, sampling, geophysics and drilling. Work at Mattie forms part of Intrepid’s broader 2026 exploration program at Corral. The Company is advancing an integrated program designed to expand the known carbonate replacement deposit mineralization, develop and test porphyry copper targets and systematically evaluate additional exploration opportunities across the district-scale property. The Company’s ongoing work at Corral includes geological mapping, detailed drill core review, targeted field investigations and portable X-ray fluorescence analysis. This work will be integrated with the Company’s approximately 65-line-kilometre induced polarization survey planned for August to further refine and prioritize targets ahead of the September drill program, which includes approximately 5,000 metres dedicated to testing high-priority porphyry targets. The Corral Copper Project is a district-scale, advanced exploration-stage opportunity located in Cochise County, Arizona, approximately 24 kilometres east of the historic mining town of Tombstone and 35 kilometres north of the historic Bisbee mining district, which has produced more than eight billion pounds of copper. Production from the Bisbee mining district is not necessarily indicative of the mineral potential at Corral. The Project hosts widespread copper-gold-silver-zinc mineralization across an approximately 3.5-kilometre by 1.5-kilometre area, including substantial shallow and high-grade carbonate replacement deposit-style mineralization identified through historical and recent drilling. Intrepid is also advancing multiple targets for a potential porphyry copper-gold system that may be associated with the known carbonate replacement deposit mineralization. Identifies New Porphyry Target At Corral CopperIntrepid Metals Corp. has announced the identification of the Curly Porphyry Target, a newly defined exploration target within its district-scale Corral Copper Project in Cochise County, Arizona. Identified through the Company's ongoing integrated exploration program, the Curly Target has emerged as a compelling target for a potential porphyry copper-gold system and represents an important advancement in Intrepid's evolving geological model at Corral. The Curly Target will be further evaluated as part of the Company’s upcoming induced polarization survey in August, ahead of the planned September drill program, which includes approximately 5,000 metres dedicated to testing high-priority porphyry targets. The Curly Target was identified through the integration of geological mapping, detailed drill core review, targeted field investigations and portable X-ray fluorescence analysis. Together, these datasets have identified multiple geological features characteristic of porphyry systems and suggest the Curly Target may lie proximal to a magmatic-hydrothermal center responsible for the extensive carbonate replacement copper-gold-silver mineralization encountered elsewhere across the Project. As part of its technical review, the Company undertook a targeted clast-seeking program designed to better understand both the distribution and character of intrusive fragments encountered within the drill core. The objective of this work was to identify evidence of nearby porphyry mineralization and provide vectors toward the interpreted source intrusion responsible for the widespread carbonate replacement mineralization across the Project. The review identified numerous rounded to sub-rounded clasts of altered intrusive rocks within drill core, including fragments interpreted to be Turquoise Granite. Many of these clasts exhibit strong potassic alteration with localized quartz-sericite-pyrite overprinting and contain porphyry-style quartz B veins hosting chalcopyrite and molybdenite. The mineralized veins terminate at the margins of the clasts, indicating the alteration and mineralization pre-date their incorporation into the surrounding breccia and suggesting they were derived from an already mineralized intrusive source. Field mapping completed at the Curly Target identified porphyry-proximal alteration styles consistent with those observed within the mineralized clasts, including stockwork veining, quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration and altered intrusive rocks. The presence of Turquoise Granite in both outcrop and drill core further strengthens the geological relationship and supports the interpretation that the McLaury Zone may represent, or lie proximal to, the source of the porphyry-style clasts identified elsewhere on the Project. The Company also completed an innovative portable X-ray fluorescence program focused on analysing hydrothermal fracture-fill material rather than the surrounding host rock. By selectively sampling fracture coatings and vein material, the program minimizes dilution from wall-rock geochemistry and enhances the ability to detect geochemical leakage associated with concealed mineralized systems. Preliminary results demonstrate well-defined geochemical clusters, including copper, manganese and sulphur enrichment, together with copper/zinc and zinc/manganese ratios, providing encouraging vectors commonly associated with porphyry systems. The geochemical results support the Curly Target and other priority target areas identified through geological mapping and drill core interpretation. Results from the ongoing geological review and portable X-ray fluorescence program will be integrated with the Company's planned induced polarization survey, scheduled to commence in early August. The combined datasets will be used to refine priority drill hole locations ahead of Intrepid's planned September drill program, which includes approximately 5,000 metres of drilling dedicated to testing high-priority porphyry targets at Corral. Building on the Company's successful identification of extensive carbonate replacement mineralization, Intrepid has continued to refine its understanding of the broader mineralizing system through an integrated exploration program undertaken with input from Teck Resources Limited. The next phase of work includes an approximately 65 line-kilometre induced polarization survey, scheduled to commence in early August, ahead of the Company's planned September drill program, where approximately 5,000 metres of the planned 10,000m campaign are expected to be dedicated to testing priority porphyry targets. Initial drilling at Corral successfully demonstrated the presence of extensive carbonate replacement copper-gold-silver mineralization across multiple zones. The Company's exploration model is based on geological similarities between Corral and Arizona's historic Bisbee Mining District, where extensive carbonate replacement mineralization is spatially associated with a significant porphyry copper system. Intrepid's 2026 exploration program has been designed to systematically evaluate whether a similar relationship exists at Corral through an integrated program of geological mapping, surface geochemistry, structural interpretation, drill core relogging and geophysical surveys. The Corral Copper Project was acquired by Intrepid in 2023 based on its potential to host both near-surface, high-grade carbonate replacement copper-gold-silver mineralization and a related porphyry copper-gold system. This exploration model is supported by geological similarities to Arizona's historic Bisbee Mining District, located approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Corral, where high-grade carbonate replacement mineralization at the Copper Queen Mine occurs in association with the Lavender Pit porphyry deposit. Like Bisbee, Corral hosts widespread carbonate replacement mineralization spatially associated with Jurassic felsic intrusions emplaced into favourable Paleozoic carbonate rocks. As part of the Company's integrated exploration program, Intrepid completed a comprehensive review and relogging of drill core, together with targeted field investigations aimed at refining its understanding of the Project's porphyry potential. This work included characterization of alteration styles, veining, intrusive lithologies and mineralization, supported by portable X-Ray Fluorescence analyses and evaluation of porphyry vectoring indicators across the Project. The review has strengthened the Company's geological model through the identification of multiple porphyry-style features, including intrusive-related alteration, quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration, stockwork veining, molybdenum-bearing mineralization and porphyry-style vein textures. These observations, combined with geological mapping, surface sampling and structural interpretation, have helped refine priority target areas that will be further evaluated through the upcoming induced polarization survey and planned porphyry drill program. The next phase of the exploration program will include an approximately 65 line-kilometre induced polarization survey, scheduled to commence in early August. The survey is designed to identify chargeability and resistivity anomalies that may represent sulphide-rich intrusive centres at depth and will provide an important dataset for refining the location and orientation of planned drill holes. Following completion and interpretation of the induced polarization survey, Intrepid expects to commence its September drill program, with approximately half of the planned 10,000m drill campaign dedicated to testing porphyry targets. The remaining drilling will continue to evaluate and expand the extensive carbonate replacement mineralization previously identified across the Project.
