Market cap: €9.36m (US$9.89m) This is considered a major risk. Companies with a small market capitalization are most likely businesses that have not yet released a product to market or are simply a very small company without a wide reach. Either way, risk is elevated with these companies because there is a chance the product may not come to fruition or the company's addressable market or demand may not be as large as expected. In addition, if the company's size is the main factor, it is less likely to have many investors and analysts following it and scrutinizing its performance and outlook. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risks Less than 1 year of cash runway based on free cash flow trend (-kr73m free cash flow). The patent relates to a method for robust preheating of powders that allows for 3D printing of materials that have previously been considered inaccessible. ProHeat TM enables 3D printing at elevated temperature in a simpler and more controlled way, whichprovides improved material properties in the manufactured parts. In this invention, the high power of the electron beam is used in Freemelt's 3D printers for indirect heating of the powder bed. This eliminates the charging effects that have hampered the development of new materials for 3D printing. The patent has been granted in Sweden and the application is also being processed in a number of other countries. Patent protection for the invention extends until April 17, 2040 in all jurisdictions where the patent is granted.공고 • Jun 29Freemelt Holding AB (publ) Grants Patents in the US and EuropeFreemelt Holding AB (publ) has been granted patents in the US and Europe. The patents relate to a method of removing powder from parts, which enables industrial customers to manufacture more complex parts. In Freemelt's 3D printers, manufacturing takes place at elevated temperature to increase productivity and improve material properties. This means that powder grains in areas inside the manufactured part are sometimes stuck after manufacturing. The patents provide protection regarding a method of removing the powder stuck in, for example, cooling channels and other confined spaces. The method is generally applicable to products manufactured with competing 3D printers. The patents are granted in the US and Europe and are validated in Sweden, Germany, and the UK. Protection for this extends until 26 March 2039 in all jurisdictions.공고 • May 18Freemelt Holding AB (Publ) Launches Pixelmelt®Freemelt Holding AB (publ) introduced Pixelmelt®, a new software for faster material development and more productive 3D printing. New Risk • Nov 13New major risk - Market cap sizeThe company's market capitalization is less than US$10m. Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (19% average weekly change). Market cap is less than US$10m (€9.36m market cap, or US$9.89m). Minor Risks Currently unprofitable and not forecast to become profitable over next 2 years (kr27m net loss in 2 years). Shareholders have been diluted in the past year (44% increase in shares outstanding). Revenue is less than US$5m (kr54m revenue, or US$4.9m).
Reported Earnings • Nov 05Third quarter 2024 earnings releasedThird quarter 2024 results: Revenue: kr14.1m (down 25% from 3Q 2023). Net loss: kr18.0m (loss narrowed 2.3% from 3Q 2023). Trailing 12-month net loss: kr86m Forecast net loss in 2 years: kr34m This is considered a minor risk. Companies that are not profitable are more likely to be burning through cash and less likely to be well established. Ultimately, shareholders want to see a good return on their investment and that generally comes from sharing in the company's profits. Without profits, the company is under pressure to grow significantly while potentially having to reduce costs and possibly needing to take on debt or raise capital to remain afloat. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risk Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (20% average weekly change). Minor Risks Less than 1 year of cash runway based on current free cash flow (-kr65m). Currently unprofitable and not forecast to become profitable over next 2 years (kr34m net loss in 2 years). New Risk • Aug 07New minor risk - Financial positionThe company has less than a year of cash runway based on its current free cash flow. Free cash flow: -kr65m This is considered a minor risk. With less than a year's worth of cash, the company will need to raise capital or take on debt unless its cash flows improve. This would dilute existing shareholders or increase balance sheet risk. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risk Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (22% average weekly change). Minor Risks Less than 1 year of cash runway based on current free cash flow (-kr65m). Shareholders have been diluted in the past year (44% increase in shares outstanding). 공고 • Jul 09Freemelt Granted Patent for Proheat™Freemelt creates new conditions for rapid growth in 3D printing has been granted a patent in Sweden for ProHeatTM. Patent protection for the invention extends until April 17, 2040 in all jurisdictions where the patent is granted.
공고 • Jun 29Freemelt Holding AB (publ) Grants Patents in the US and EuropeFreemelt Holding AB (publ) has been granted patents in the US and Europe. Protection for this extends until 26 March 2039 in all jurisdictions.
