Rather than making individual cells and modules, Solidion's AI-assisted designed BEEP technology entails directly stacking and connecting bipolar electrodes and solid electrolyte layers in series and in parallel to produce a solid-state battery pack that delivers exceptional power and energy densities. Solid-state batteries are expected to revolutionize the electric vehicle and space industries with their inherent safety, fast charging, significantly extended driving or flying range on a single battery charge. However, two major issues have prevented the wide-spread commercialization of solid-state lithium batteries: i) the difficulty and high cost of manufacturing solid-state batteries and ii) the limited space and payload weight available in an EV for ground, sea, air, or space transportation to accommodate a bulky and heavy battery system. Current battery pack designs devote much of that space to fire mitigation, a large number of connectors between cells or modules, and large volumes of protective housing materials. Solidion's BEEP technology solves both this design issue and reduces the manufacturing challenges, while contributing to reduced battery weight, volume and cost. This is accomplished owing to the BEEP pack requiring only one casing and a small number of connectors – instead of the hundreds of housings and connectors in today's batteries. The bipolar electrode stacking procedure is intrinsically simpler and easier when compared to making individual cells and using external cables to connect multiple pre-fabricated cells.공시 • Jun 13Solidion Technology, Inc. announced that it has received $34.994842 million in fundingOn June 11, 2026, Solidion Technology, Inc. closed the transaction. This lithium metal anode protection platform, protected by 30+ patents, addresses the following three technical barriers that have thus far prevented large-scale implementation of ultra-high energy lithium metal batteries: continued reactions between the electrolyte and lithium metal; lithium dendrites that could penetrate through the separator or solid-state electrolyte layer, creating internal shorting and thermal runaway; and large gaps between the lithium metal layer and the solid-state electrolyte that diminish battery performance. Solidion's lithium battery-enabling platform will deliver reliable, high-performance power storage for satellites, low-Earth orbit (LEO)-based AI data centers, crewed spacecraft, and future lunar infrastructure. The strategic importance of Solidion's battery technology may be briefly summarized below: For the space industry: the lithium metal batteries, as illustrated in the diagram below, are well-suited for powering all space infrastructure and space vehicles. Down-to-earth applications: Beyond space, Solidion's platform powers electric vehicles, drones, robots, and AI data center UPS systems. Domestic supply chain security: With over 385 patents, U.S.-based green graphite production ramp, and silicon-anode leadership, Solidion supports American space leadership by reducing reliance on foreign battery materials — a critical consideration for national security-oriented space programs.공시 • Jun 04Solidion Technology Inc. Unveils Patented Extreme-Climate Battery Technology Targeting Low Earth Orbit-Based Artificial Intelligence Data Centers, Lunar Economy, and SpaceSolidion Technology Inc. announced a patented breakthrough in extreme-climate battery technology and its strategic positioning within the rapidly expanding space and lunar economy. Solidion's Generation Extreme-Climate Battery (Gen-ECB) platform is engineered to deliver reliable, high-performance power storage for satellites, Low Earth Orbit (LEO)-based AI data centers, crewed spacecraft, and future lunar infrastructure. Protected by multiple patents, Solidion's Gen-ECB harnesses the exceptional thermal conductivity and radiation resistance of graphene to actively regulate temperature within battery cells -- rapidly dissipating heat to prevent thermal runaway and, when needed, drawing warmth from external sources such as solar panels to maintain stable operations in extreme cold. The result is a battery system proven to operate reliably from -80°C to +60°C, with ongoing development targeting even broader temperature ranges for deep-space missions. Complementing the Gen-ECB, Solidion's broader battery platform includes silicon-rich all-solid-state lithium-ion cells, anode-less lithium metal, and high-energy-density lithium-sulfur batteries targeting 380+ Wh/kg -- delivering dramatically higher energy-to-weight ratios with non-flammable solid electrolytes that are essential for crewed missions where every kilogram and watt counts. The Gen-ECB provides extended mission life, increased operational uptime, enhanced satellite endurance, and high-reliability energy storage across the full thermal envelope of orbital operations, addressing one of the fastest-growing segments of the space economy. Solidion's batteries offer compact, reliable power for surface operations, energy storage during solar eclipses, and auxiliary systems -- far surpassing traditional space batteries in performance and safety. Solidion is engineering Gen-ECB to deliver high specific energy, lightweight operation, and long-duration reliability for lunar rovers, habitats, and surface power grids -- with tested performance exceeding 500 charge cycles at -40°C, a critical durability benchmark for missions that cannot afford a power failure. With over 385 patents, U.S.-based green graphite production scaling, and silicon-anode leadership, Solidion supports American space leadership by reducing reliance on foreign battery materials -- a critical consideration for national security-oriented space programs. Beyond space, Solidion's platform powers electric vehicles, AI data center UPS systems, and aerospace applications -- creating diversified revenue streams as the broader space economy and clean energy transition continue to accelerate.공시 • May 19Solidion Technology, Inc. announced delayed 10-Q filingOn 05/18/2026, Solidion Technology, Inc. announced that they will be unable to file their next 10-Q by the deadline required by the SEC.공시 • Apr 23Solidion Technology Inc. Receives Key Patents on Drop-In Solid-State Conversion TechnologySolidion Technology Inc. announced the grant of a series of key patents covering its proprietary liquid-to-solid electrolyte conversion platform -- a technology that enables existing lithium-ion battery manufacturers to produce solid-state batteries without new equipment or process investment -- adding to the Company's portfolio of over 345 patents. Flame-resistant electrolytes are key to safe operations of energy storage systems (ESS) and all-types of electric vehicles, such as drones, electric bikes, e-automobile, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL), and e-boats. The fire and explosion danger in conventional lithium-ion batteries is caused by certain highly volatile and flammable organic solvents commonly used in liquid electrolytes. The technology invented includes using any current lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility to produce dry battery cells, injecting a proprietary liquid electrolyte into the dry cells, and then converting the liquid electrolyte inside the cells into a semi-solid or solid electrolyte, thereby reducing or eliminating flammability. A major advantage of such a breakthrough technology is that solid-state batteries can be manufactured at-scale today rather than tomorrow, using existing lithium-ion battery manufacturing facilities. There is no need to develop new processes and equipment. Solidion, a pioneer in this "liquid-to-solid conversion" technology, is positioned to readily transform the entire lithium-ion battery industry into producers of semi-solid and solid-state batteries.공시 • Apr 02Solidion Technology, Inc. announced delayed annual 10-K filingOn 04/01/2026, Solidion Technology, Inc. announced that they will be unable to file their next 10-K by the deadline required by the SEC.공시 • Feb 12Solidion Technology, Inc. has filed a Follow-on Equity Offering.Solidion Technology, Inc. has filed a Follow-on Equity Offering.
