Announces Appointment of Ms. Tasrin Ahmed as Director of Accounting and Finance Transportation and Logistics Systems, Inc. announced appointment of Ms. Tasrin Ahmed as Director of Accounting and Finance. Ms. Ahmed is a 2016 Dean's List graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. She began her career in 2017 as a cost accountant with the Interplast Group, a $3 billion North American manufacturer of plastic-based products. TLSS Hires Jill Czerniak as Its Director of Employee Support and Development Transportation and Logistics Systems, Inc. officially announced that Ms. Jill Czerniak recently joined the Company, on October 18, 2022, as its Director of Employee Support and Development. Ms. Jill Czerniak is a human resource professional, who most recently worked as Senior People Partner for Fairstead Management, a $45 million real estate developer. Fairstead's national footprint includes more than $6 billion in assets and over 500 employees. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, she served as Director of Human Resources for Green National, which manages multi-family affordable housing through 125 employees. Under her direction, she created position-specific onboarding and orientation programs; on-going learning and development training program by each position; employee recognition programs; and company-wide merit and performance review programs. In the years from 2009 to 2016, she worked as Director, Human Resources for Westminster Management, a property management company with 2,800 employees.From 2016 to 2018, Ms. Czerniak worked as Director of Human Resources for The Millennia Companies, a vertically integrated residential and commercial real estate company with over 1,200 employees. From 2018 to 2019, she was Director of Human Resources of Great Day Improvements, with over 300 employees. Jill started her professional career in 2007, with Litigation Management, Inc., a legal and medical data analytics company, and held various managerial positions during her tenure there. Ms. Czerniak received her graduate and undergraduate degrees from Cleveland State University, earning a Master of Business Administration Degree, with a concentration in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, with a major in accounting and a minor in Human Resource Management. Appoints Mr. Justin Frey as Chief Operating Officer Transportation and Logistics Systems, Inc. announced that, effective as of September 12, 2022, Mr. Justin Frey has joined the Company as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Justin Frey started his career in transportation and logistics in 1989 with Consolidated Freightways, when it was the nation's largest long-haul trucking company, as a customer service representative and held various positions there, including dispatcher, dock supervisor, sales executive and terminal manager. In the years from 2013 to 2018, he worked for FFE Transportation, one of the largest temperature-controlled National LTL transportation companies with revenues of more than $150 million, serving as terminal manager in California and Illinois before being promoted to Eastern Region Director of Operations.From 2018 through 2019, Mr. Frey worked as Director of Operations with Dicom/Eastern Connection, a $40 million regional overnight small package carrier. From 2019 to 2020, he was Director of Freight Operations for Freeman Company, one of the world's largest event companies with revenues of $2.9 billion worldwide. Announces Board Appointments On January 20, 2022, the Board of Directors of Transportation and Logistics Systems, Inc. elected Charles Benton (age 71) to the Board of Directors of the Company to serve until his successor is elected and qualified. Mr. Benton will serve as Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee and will serve on the Company's Compensation Committee. Mr. Benton was appointed to the Board based on his extensive experience in the transportation and supply chain industries and his experience with the boards of directors of publicly-traded companies, including his various roles, such as Chairman and on governance committees. Currently, he serves as a director and Audit Chairman of Vision Hydrogen Corp. On January 20, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Company elected Norman Newton (age 55) to the Board of Directors of the Company to serve until his successor is elected and qualified. Mr. Newton will serve as Chairman of the Company's Nominating Committee and will serve on the Company's Audit Committee. Mr. Newton was appointed to the Board based on his high-level executive skills across a multiple of large organizations and his background in implementing digital technology in various areas relevant to the Company's plans and operations. Currently, Mr. Newton is the President and CEO of AmeriCasa Solutions, LLC, a vertically integrated provider ofhousing to the Hispanic Community in the United States. Mr. Newton is also the Managing Director of Newton Vision Corporation, a privately held investment and consulting company with deep experience in business process reengineering, optimization, and digital transformation. On January 20, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Company appointed John Mercadante, a current member of its Board of Directors, to serve as Chairman of the Company's Compensation Committee and to serve on the Company's Nominating Committee.
