Atacama Resources International, Inc. Announces Executive Appointments Atacama Resources International, Inc. announced its new executive team. The company has appointed Thomas (Buddy) Moynihan as Chairman of the Board, currently Chief Financial Officer. Thomas Moynihan has 40 years' experience in accounting, auditing, fund-raising experience, and financial consulting with major US companies as well as experience heading his own companies. Mr. Moynihan can overcome any financial challenge that Atacama might face. Mr. Moynihan is expecting big things to happen with this company and has his eye on future growth and strategies. He has also built strong investor networks that can help fuel Atacama's growth. Mr. Moynihan is a CPA with an MS in taxation and an MBA in accounting from Pace University. Greg Praver appointed as Corporate Secretary. Greg Praver has held the Chief Operating Officer position since April 2024 and has proven his capabilities by exceeding expectations with every new challenge. He has always looked to the company's future growth and always thinks outside of the box. Being the Chief Operating Officer of an emerging public company requires working with all team members and interfacing with outside accountants, auditors, attorneys, transfer agents, vendors, and shareholders. The overall result is that Mr. Praver has operationally become the voice of Atacama to the outside world. Mr. Praver has a BA degree with honors from the University of Tampa. Brian Praver appointed as President of Atacama Resources International and Business Development. Brian Praver has experience in leading, coaching, and recruiting high-performance teams and individuals who consistently exceed company goals. The President's primary job is to make sure that the best interests of the company are served by the entire management team and Mr. Praver's leadership style suits the needs of the company very well. With the Atacama team spread over two countries from coast to coast, Mr. Praver has proven to be an effective leader in managing this virtual company since his arrival in April. His primary focus is Business Development, building strategic partnerships, assessing local and national mining trends, and will always focus on increasing shareholder value. Atacama Resources International, Inc. Announces Directorate Appointments Atacama Resources International announces the appointment of three new Directors. The Board of Directors has approached John Grant, William MacRae and Greg Praver about accepting a position as Director of the Company. All three have accepted the role. John Grant - Graduate of Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology with a three-year diploma in Geology Technology. John Grant has been involved in all aspects of the Mining and Exploration industry for 48 years with a primary focus on the geophysical aspect of the industry. He is a resident of Timmons, Ontario. John was a senior field geophysical manager of Geophysical Engineering from 1975 to 1980. He had previously acted as the exploration Manager and the owner of Exsics Exploration Ltd. He also managed numerous exploration programs for major and junior mining companies through Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, Manitoba, British Columbia and Nevada. John is a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, a member of the Certified Engineering Technologists of Ontario and a member of the PDAC. William MacRae - Masters University Honors BSC, McMaster University postgraduate degree in Geology. William has been in the mining industry for more than 43 years. He is a resident of Timmons, Ontario. Bill has worked for Noranda, Newmont, Kinross Gold, Placer Dome, several Junior Exploration companies, the Geological Survey of Canada and the Ontario Geological Survey. He acted as the VP of Exploration (Ontario) for Matamec Exploration from 2007 to 2008 and has been a director and member of the Audit Committee of RJK Explorations since 2017. He was the Exploration Manager in Timmins for the Canada Nickel Company from 2019 to 2023 and played a role in taking the Crawford Nickel deposit from grassroots exploration to a bankable feasibility over the course of four years. Mr. MacRae held executive positions on volunteer boards, including acting as the president of Porcupine Prospectors and Developers since 1975, the vice president of Ontario Prospectors Association since 1998, the Executive Director of Timmins Economic Development Corporation from 1991 to 2011, and as a Director on the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation Board since 2021. He has a good working relationship with all levels of government from municipal to federal and a long working history with the Ontario Minister of Mines. Greg Praver - University of Tampa, BA Cum Laude in Communication and journalism honors program. Greg Praver has been working for the Company as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Investor Relations since December 2023. Mr. Praver is a resident of Stamford, Connecticut. Atacama Resources International, Inc. Announces Executive Changes Atacama Resources International, Inc. announced the appointment of Greg Praver as Chief Operating Officer. Dan Finch, who partnered with Glenn Grant as COO in 2015 to transform Atacama Resources from a private corporation to an OTC Markets Pink public company, has retired. Atacama Resources International, Inc. Announces Management Appointments Atacama Resources International, Inc. announced the immediate appointment of Joe Dion, Darwin Douglas, Joshua Dion, and William (Chris) McKay to key management and board of directors positions. In addition, Atacama has established an Advisory Board and is pleased to introduce Justin Gee as its first member. The Advisory Board will be comprised of individuals from throughout Canada and the United States with unique skill-sets and backgrounds geared towards the exploration and mining industries and aboriginal relations. Moving forward and addition to the above appointments, Colin Keith will be transitioning to the position of Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Development, Wayne Holmstead will remain as the Vice-President of Exploration, and Waylon Iserhoff and David Berry will remain as members of the Board of Directors. Joe Dion is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Frog Lake Energy Resources Corporation. Prior to joining FLERC, Joe worked as a consultant for First Nations in Canada and the United States while advising energy companies and governments negotiating Impact Benefit Agreements and joint ventures. Joe also comes from a family of hereditary chiefs. He is great-grandson to notable Cree Chief Big Bear, who played pivotal roles in Canadian history. Darwin Douglas is a prominent entrepreneur, a Council member for Cheam First Nation, board member for Cheam Enterprises Inc., CEO of All Nations Cannabis, and a leader in his family and community while serving as a leader and a new voice for Indigenous Business in the Stó:lo territory and beyond. For several years Darwin served as a researcher and manager in Aboriginal Rights and Title for both the Cheam First Nation and the Stó:lo Nation. He was also the manager of the Coqualeetza Cultural Education Centre, where he was able to bring financial stability to the Centre and relocate archival materials to ensure they were preserved properly for future generations. He also currently owns and operates two small businesses in the Fraser Valley, the Cheam Trading Post which offers wild, local and fair trade salmon and seafood products, and, Stó:lo Seafood Company, a business that operates a certified processing facility. Joshua Dion is a seasoned oil and gas and governmental and indigenous affairs executive. A member of the Kehewin Cree Nation, and has recently served as the Community Outreach Officer for the Western Indigenous Pipeline Group and the Manager of Corporate and Indigenous Relations and Partnerships for Indigenous Resource Management in Vancouver, British Columbia. Justin Gee is a member of the Six Nations of Grand River and a graduate of Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Metallurgical Engineering). With over twenty one years of completing of planning studies and detailed designs for First Nations across Canada, Justin is perhaps the only First Nations individual with both professional engineering and planning designations, and is the Vice-President of First Nations owned and operated engineering company, First Nations Engineering Services Ltd. Chris McKay is an Oji-cree from Mattagami First Nation in mineral rich Northeastern Ontario and has been involved in the mining and exploration sectors for over 15 years while representing and negotiating, on behalf of the Mattagami First Nation, 3 Impact Benefit Agreements, including the Cote Lake Gold project, and over 10 exploration agreements.
