Tradewinds Universal Announces Appointment of Alan Chang to Board of Directors Tradewinds Universal had formally appointed Alan Chang as a Director and member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Chang had served on the Company’s Advisory Board since September 2025. Mr. Chang is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Peppermint Hippo and the leader of TRWD’s Experiential Hospitality Division, which is focused on the adult nightlife sector. Mr. Chang founded Peppermint Hippo in 2018 and built it into one of the fastest-rising brands in adult nightlife, with 12-plus venues nationwide anchored by the only gentlemen’s club on the Las Vegas Strip. Central to Mr. Chang’s track record is a proven, repeatable turnaround model that acquires underperforming or non-operational venues and converts them into upscale, brand-consistent destinations — the operating discipline now driving TRWD’s expansion strategy. Over nearly two decades in the industry, he has developed deep expertise in multi-unit operations, acquisitions, and brand building, including a General Manager role within RCI Hospitality, a leading publicly traded operator in the nightlife and hospitality sector. Tradewinds Universal Appoints Alan Chang to Its Board of Directors Tradewinds Universal Inc. announced the appointment of Alan Chang, CEO and founder of Peppermint Hippo, to its Board of Directors. Chang will serve as Director overseeing the Companys newly formed Adult Hospitality Division, including strategic expansion initiatives and the transaction between Tradewinds Universal and Peppermint Hippo. Chang has spent more than two decades in the nightlife and adult hospitality industry, with a track record of successfully turning around underperforming venues and transforming them into top-performing destinations. Before creating Peppermint Hippo, he held senior management and operational roles in nationally recognized nightclub and entertainment groups, where he built expertise in licensing, acquisitions, and brand strategy. In 2018, he founded Peppermint Hippo, which has since grown into one of the most dynamic entertainment chains in the country. Peppermint Hippo and its affiliated entities such as Las Toxcas have grown to 10 clubs nationwide, 8 proudly carrying the Hippo name. Each location delivers a signature blend of lavish design, elite entertainment, and unforgettable experiences setting it apart from anything else in the industry. Alan Changes appointment represents a transformative step for Tradewinds Universal as it advances its vision to consolidate and modernize the adult hospitality sector.
