The Bambo-1 well in Block A2 offshore The Gambia, is designed to drill into 3 prospects with a total estimated recoverable, prospective resource of 1,118 mmbbls (arithmetic sum of the Best Estimates, 559 mmbbls net to FAR) and the chance of geological success for the various horizons range from 7% to 37%. FAR is Operator with a 50% working interest in the A2 and A5 permits with its joint venture partner, PC Gambia Ltd, a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS). If successful, a discovery could result in a standalone development which would be The Gambia's first oil production. The prospect volume estimates in this table have been calculated for each individual reservoir target using probabilistic methods. Each reservoir shown in below (Bambo, Soloo and Soloo Deep) has two separate targets. These volumes have then been summed arithmetically to give the totals for the Bambo-1 well. Planning for the Bambo-1 drilling project is well advanced. The execution of the rig contract marks a significant milestone in the planning for the well with spud now confirmed for between 1 October and 30 November 2021, subject to rig schedule. Long-lead items have been ordered and tendering and contracting for remaining key services is underway. The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the project is approved by the National Environmental Agency of The Gambia. FAR has engaged Exceed Energy in Aberdeen to provide the engineering and wells management team to deliver this project. The well is expected to take approximately 30 days to drill and planned to drill to a depth of 3266m in water depths of 993m, 85km offshore and 500m south of the Senegal-Gambia border Stena Drillmax Ice Limited is a subsidiary of Stena Drilling Ltd, the same drilling company that FAR Gambia Ltd.お知らせ • Jan 21FAR Limited Signs RSSD Project Sale Contract with Woodside Energy (Senegal) B.VFAR Limited has previously advised that Woodside Energy (Senegal) B.V. On 19 January 2021 the FAR group executed a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Woodside in relation to the sale. Under the terms, each share will be acquired at a price of AUD 0.021 per share. The transaction will be funded from available internal cash reserves and that any formal binding offer would not include any financing conditions. The transaction is conditional on the FAR shareholder meeting to consider approving the sale of the RSSD project being rescheduled and no superior proposal emerging. Ltd. entered into an RSSD Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire RSSD Project from FAR Limited (ASX:FAR) for $45 million on November 11, 2020. In addition, ONGC has agreed to reimburse FAR’s share of working capital for the RSSD Project from January 1, 2020 totaling $66.58 million, payable on completion. The reimbursement is comprised of cash calls paid by FAR, including $29.60 million paid to cure FAR’s default to the joint venture. The transaction also includes an entitlement to certain contingent payments capped at $55 million Under the transaction, FAR is proposing to sell to ONGC its interest in the RSSD Project, being: a 13.67% participating interest in the Sangomar exploitation area containing the Sangomar field; and a 15% participating interest in the RSSD contract area outside the Sangomar exploitation area. Transaction is subject to written approval of the Minister of Petroleum and Energies for the Republic of Senegal, FAR Shareholder Approval and Third Party Agreement Termination. FAR is presently contemplating completion of the Transaction at the end of January 2021.
